I am surprised that an Aussie side could not shut out India after scoring 400. All they needed was one significant partnership in their second dig.

Maybe Clarke is imploding under the strain? Not even AB could save Australia every time.

Not sure why this thread was ever rife with pessimism and surprise - these events were predictable even last night. In the subcontinent, a lot can happen late in the game.
