Oh dear. Well at least they aren't ashamed of their abysmal performance. Not many sportsmen can say that. Props :nehra

Kohli looks in decent touch. Probably the 2nd most in form Indian batsman after Tendy

Lyon needs to look a bit scarier though. Shave his head and grow a goatee or something.

Kohli to score a ton here................

He seems to be a lot more assured than Laxman who is just playing for his place...

Kohli is the only +Ve India can take from this Test Series in terms of batting.

Also India at least has a decent fast bowler in Yadav now.

on one of the most docile of a wicket indian bats man are unable to get the ball of the square, talk about being FTB.

Went away for dinner came back India have lost another wicket?!?

If they were FTB, then they should be scoring runs on this track.

Indian team is just done. They cannot even bat on flat tracks...

This team cannot even win against Zimbabwe. Forget Aus/Eng/SAF...

Time to dismantle this team and rebuild.

It's 90% mental and 10% deterioration of skills and technique IMO. When you go out to bat afraid you will lose your wicket, you usually will. Dravid, Sehwag and Laxman's skills have clearly deteriorated, and Gamby clearly has weaknesses against the short ball, but the other wickets are a result of the players running scared out there. Tendy's wicket was a halfhearted prod outside off stump away from his body to a ball that could have been left alone. They've been a bit intimidated by the OZ bowlers IMO.

Only 282 runs left to avoid the follow on

Lunch. 5/122. Kohli 21* Saha 5*, trail by 482, need 282 to avoid the follow on.

I have a strong feeling kohli is going to be dismissed by siddle :p

Who is India's batting coach? Do they have one?

India has 3 players who played over 150 Tests.

2 players who played close to 100 Tests...

If they still need a batting coach to tell them how to play, then its a big

Ever since that English guy was brought in as coach, India has struggled. It looks like Kirsten was whipping Indians every day pouring in confidence in their hearts..

Duncan Felcher? He's Zimbabwean. He has a great record coaching in Australia too - 1 win from 13 attempts.

Gary Kirsten was a lot better IMO.

BTW I'm watching the Willow feed and they are saying Duncan Felcher feels the problems with the Indian batting are due to "poor batting alignment". Isn't that his job to fix?

Legends tendulkar and Dravid will play their last ever test innings in australia, great players. Tendulkar will retire probably after playing revenge series against england and australia at home. Laxman and dravid should hang their boots tomorrow.

There's no revenge for these embarrassments, is there any reason for Sachin to keep playing?

60 overs to survive for India with 5 wickets in hand before stumps

India trail by 479 runs with 5 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

once again on verge of inning defeat

india should bat 3 times .. in every overseas match :))) :)))

Prabhjot: "Even that Saha fellow is fairing better than the stalwarts. Its clearly hunger driven motivation. Both Kohli n Saha have that. Same for Ashwin n Umesh yadav. They know they have to perform well or face the axe. The rest take their places for granted or they have had enough of cricket."

Have to agree with that guy... :malik

I saw lot of indians even in the forum asking for rohit sharma to replace kohli after the first test. That is how impatient we are, fair enough if u have given a player enough chances but this is kohli's first tour out of india.
