How long does the lunch lasts ?1hr Time to catch up on NBA.......TORONTO RAPTORS ALL THE WAY :martin

7years of FC cricket for Karn Sharma and the commentators think he is inexperienced

Yes, he did debut in 2007 but did not play a lot after that. Only got chances in last 2 seasons. He has only played 34 FC matches

Not a bad effort, Ideally for me one more wicket would have been sweet ahh well. Once we break this partnership then hopefully making inroads would become a lot more easier... Aaron a bit wayward but got good pace on this flat deck...

As usual, our bowlers are getting a phaintry from Warner.

Atleast we got 2 wickets otherwise it could have been lot worse.

BTW, the amount of India bashing on this thread is hilarious. Just 1 session is over guys. :kohli

Especially by those whose team almost lost to a Kiwi C side in their own backyard :msd

Mark Taylor, Warnie, a women and a random guy are having a conversation without knowing that the mic is still on. Taylor is talking about his bald spot

David Warner last 10 innings: 115, 70, 66, 135, 145, 133, 29, 19, 58, 77n.o.
What a beast!

Yeah especially after bmac belted a double & williamson 190.

Pak fans forgetting an innings defeat from a rank 7 team in asian conditions in 4 days. lol

Splendid golden age of batting lasting about a month :D

Good run rate, considering India managed all of 24 overs in that session, a good six overs short.

Warner might have been denied a century in the first session thanks to that over rate. Pathetic.

Well if ishant is India's best bowler , then i guess there is no shame in being ranked number 7 at the end of this series .

We need to continue bowling less overs per session to last till the 4th day :)

Tbh India bowled a lot better than the score suggests.

They were erratic at times however, need to fix that in 2nd session. Karn seems like a gamble gone wrong.

I won't read much into the first session here. There will be an acute case of nerves and to top it, it's a new skipper finding his way around.

What pleases me the most is both the chances were grabbed at the slip cordon. The English tour was a horror, with regards to the slip catching. It has been pathetic since the old order, namely Dravid and VVS, gave way.

Can't judge a leggie on overs in the first session of the first day

People wanted something new , you need to take chances , some will come off

Hey RA a genuine question. Is this Adelaide track flatter than normal? I remember last years Ashes the ball was doing more than today, atleast on the first morning.

Pretty impressed by warner. He not only smacked our bowlers but also kept getting singles on 4th-5th ball to face the next over.

2 wickets in the first session is a decent mornings work at Adelaide. Obviously India would prefer a lower run rate but it's not the disaster it could have been.

The really hard part is finding 2 more wickets in the hot middle session with an old ball to keep you in the game.
Mohammed irfan would have run through the entire Oz batting lineup

I'm working so haven't seen much of the play. But its always flat, people complain its too flat and will lead to a dull draw on days 1-3 - then it usually starts to misbehave on day 4 and 5 and gives quite an interesting game. If you replace Warner with a normal score we are about 2/80 which doesn't suggest road to me.

Excellent display of genuine fast bowling by the boys. To restrict the Aussie after that rapid start and get two wickets on this road is a real accomplishment. Now its time to turn up the heat and knock them off one by one #BleedBlue #PhaastBowling #FastestinAsia

Ok Thanks.

BTW I think we bowled quite erratic too. A tighter line and a less weird tactic earlier on (I don't know who came up with that plan of round the wicket to Warner) might had Aus at 90/2 or something.

They are saying its a drop-in this time?

Good for you mate.

Now hurry up and go study :misbah

I'm efficient, don't need to study 24/7.

But I will let you know that Australia are going to hand some serious pain to India on this tour and I cannot wait. They got battered by England and this is the same Aussie team that whitewashed England. Won't be surprised if Aaron and Umesh sustain injuries again by the 3rd test

Thanks for your concerns. We all know we will lose 0-4. Even a Somalian engineer can predict that. :msd

PS: My last post on Academics. Now back to Cricket :Kohli

Our only hope is if Shami can reverse it by the 40-45th over. Otherwise Aus will easily reach 370-400 today

C'mon India at least make a fight of it.. So boring watching these one sided Test series.

:mc well on his way to scoring a 250 minimum.

Pakistan and India WC match is also on this road... Lots of tun available on this ground!!

I know India bring money in and all, but if India lose 0-4 with little fight CA should really consider holding off on inviting them for a while.

58 overs still left , India need to bowl some tight spells. Just slow things down here.

And vice versa.

C'mon Aus, make things interesting by throwing away a wicket or two :P

Doesn't the ball reverse in Aus? They are bowling straight as an arrow. Poor stuff.

No cricket fan likes to see one sided neutral contests..

So Arun and Shami have finished with decent figures:
Arun : 10 overs 62 for
Shami: 10 overs 57 for 0

that's good ODI bowling so lets see what they will do in Test cricket in Australia when they go there.
