We have these Aussies shivering in their boots, Aussies look scared of the blue machine #BleedBlue

Ball hit outside the line ? Does Ganguly know that if the batsmen dont offer a shot it dosent matter ?

How can a Test cricketer no know this ?

Doable if these two stay in and add another 100 or so. Looking well set to do that actually. If that happens pressure will be back on Aus and anything can happen.

The pitch is in wear and tear. Lyon is troubling every ball or two.

History suggest no one has ever chased this many amount of runs on this ground.

Lets remain skeptical. India can do it but its too early. Way too early to even think for a win.

It'll be interesting to see how Clarke responds if these two put on another 100 runs.

It's all easy when you have a gun bowler running through teams, not so much when you're on the back foot.

Aus will come all out trying to attack in the first 15 overs after the lunch. It will be a key 15 overs in deciding where this game goes.

whats with the name calling dudes. knock it off. If you don't like a comment made by someone, ignore it. Don't repeat that 5 times.

It would be so gun if India went the next session without losing a wicket.
they might go t20 style in the final I reckon then.
259 seems still pretty far though, it would have been cracking had it been around 200 odd more required.

India seems intent on batting for Draw.

Disagree. That's perfect mix of aggression considering the wicket and our history abroad. They can easily accelerate if they stay for 30-45 more minutes.

2 is a bit too much, we don't have the best tail in the world.
I would say these two still need to be at the crease till the next session is over for us to have any chance of pulling this off.

India does not have worst Tail either.

They still have to score 260 more runs. One more wicket and it'll be all tuk tuk.

You can't go aggressive from start. You risk not lasting the whole way. Make sure we don't lose then go for the win if target is in reach.

6 by Kohli :kohli

The OZ must be getting nervous OZGOD :))

If Aus get Kohli before 100, they should win it.

He's the wicket that wins the game.

What do guys think about swapping positions of Rahane and Dhawan?

Rehang looks more technically better equipped overseas for a opener and also dhawan plays spinners well and might find it easier to play pacers against the older ball?

Aussie Commentators still complaining about the M Vijay incident. Tbh i don't mind them complaining but when they blatantly brushed aside other wickets that were against India, its just annoying. And its been almost an hour since this incident.

Nope . Dont mess with Rahanes position.

Get Rahul in .

Ideally would want dhawan to be dropped.

I would give him one more game at most .

KL Rahul is all class . The only question is he ready for Intl cricket ? But technically hes one of the best we have . Very strong of the backfoot too.

Haven't seen KL Rahul, but i think Dhawan got enough chances tbf, we need to give someone else a chance. Dhawan normally plays one okay innings then doesn't perform for a while.

Dhawan is not surviving the pacers and next is at brisbane the ball is going to bounce like hell KL Rahul played his majic knock at a good bowling pitch i think we need to drop Dhawan he is clueless really.

Hahaha Warnie on Star Sports now, not even mentioning the LBW incident, a few minutes ago he was on the aussie channel complaining non stop. Now he is upping the indians :/

Guess you gotta target your audience and its only natural.

Kohli has been highly impressive as a captain. Maybe not while managing his bowlers (who bowled terribly to be fair) but as a batsman, he has been great.

Cricketjoshila,
We might be using a different metric here.

Victor Trumper was like a Colossus besides his peers. There is every reason to think that such a figure would dominate any era.

The Ford Model T was the greatest car of all time because of how it made car ownership possible for one in six Americans compared with one in one hundred previously. It's obviously less refined than a 2014 car, but its designer would presumably clean up today too.

The best players adapt. Trumper would adapt in about a week to today's flat predictable pitches like Adelaide. It would be very hard for Tendulkar or Lara to adapt to a 1908 sticky dog, where the pitch has been rained on and has dried out into an unpredictable corrugated roof of a surface.

Channel 9 knows that cricket fans will watch regardless whilst they need the over the top idiots for the the casuals.
