Boult has been awful bowler this series. Couldn' walk the talk.. statements like, "I have learnt to move the ball when it's not swinging" makes you look like a fool in hindsight.

Need to hear more from Junaids about what a bad bowler Hazlewood is.

Quicker to 50 test wickets than Harris (in terms of tests played) and Lillee (in terms of balls bowled) despite playing on Australian highways.
I've been very impressed by him here.

NZ have played in the image of their reckless skipper. Eight of the ten wickets were due to over-aggressive shots against a weakened attack.

Great match, great pitch, surprisingly good ball. But Suicide McCullum keeps presiding over much too aggressive a team.

I walked past Kane Williamson in the lobby today while he was being lectured by Greg Matthews. I was very tempted to say "why all these unnecessary drives?"

But I figure he knows a bit more about batting than me. Mind you, he looked desperate for someone to rescue him from Mo!

If Warner could get into Kiwis in this session match would be very much in Aussies' hands. He could chase down the total in this session alone. lol

He knows we need 100+ this ession

That was peach of delivery to Warner.

What was that?? - how could you drop those?? -

Smith looks lost, i think warner was the key wicket can't see this middle order chasing this down.

What would be interesting tho is how the old pink ball will behave under lights.

What a difference a bit of grass cover on the pitch makes eh. Finally some proper Test cricket. Real shame this series could have been a cracker.

Ian Healy "he's faced 17 balls. I hope he's not tired"

Actual quality banter there

:))

Healy is always good for a laugh. Haters gonna hate.

Is mcculum retarded giving the ball to this guy in a tight situation. Craig has lost it for neq zealand. Just keep boult and southee on! Who cares if they get tired the match is gonna end today

If you're making reviews like that I don't think you can complain about DRS

Dinner time. 74 runs to get under lights 7 wickets in the shed. Still anyones game.

The Marsh family carrying the team on their back under pressure, showing Smith how its done.

Softer than marshmallows eh.

McCullum attacked too much against Voges and Marsh and leaked 25 runs too many.

The lights are on but there is still also bright sunlight. By my reckoning, Australia has at least eight overs before the ball misbehaves. I think they will win comfortably.

It was probably tactical to bowl one over less before the dinner break and floodlights.

But I'm still wearing sunglasses!

Super Marsh Bros?

I wouldn't know how to handle the Marsh brothers winning a test match for Australia. My mind would just stop functioning

I've seen them from WA. Hell, I've played plenty of cricket against Mitch. It would just be surreal.

but if they really are that bad than how in hell they made it thus far, perhaps aussies selectors have some different ideas about them than you? Or does it help if dad is a selector.

Australia need to channel their inner Pakistan to lose from here.

Now you would be jumping with joy Convict
but i guess marsh brothers have done enough to prove their doubters wrong i guess.

Oh they're not bad.

just well. Not the greatest under pressure.

Mitch is a good prospect.

Don't get me wrong. I like the Marsh brothers. I'm affectionate in my doubt.

so you are saying that they are good under normal scenarios but you don't trust in them when heat is on? I wouldn't call a player even good if he can't perform when things are not going his way.

SO 19 to get 5 wkts in hand. Could go either way.

Nah. I've seen WA choke some many times over the years that I can't trust two WA batsman to do well in the same innings.

Shaun Marsh will never be consistent enough to be test standard. He has the ability but doesn't perform often enough.

Mitch Marsh will develop into a test class player but at the moment he's a genuine bitsa who does handy cameos with the bat and the ball but never both at once

Attendance 120k+ for the 3 days apparently. Not bad.

Adam Marsh deserves a go as well tbh. Marshes could be the new Chappells.

That's true if talking first class cricket. Test cricket no. If you give people enough chances, every now and then they prove you right.

Nevill has looked the best bat this Test for mine. Solid technique.

So wait there really is an Adam Marsh. Thought you were kidding around RA :yk

Ball moving around all of a sudden. What gives.

Ahh Marsh out for 49 oh well top knock under pressure nevertheless.

Only 5 to get. This looks to be really getting away from NZ now Aman

Marsh bros copping so much at the moment on Australian forums

Especially Shaun

He's super nervy isn't he. Decent bat otherwise. Geoff Marsh has a lot to answer for I reckon. His fault.

This is the old pink ball at night.

Unplayable. As in all 9 shield matches

Ball just started hooping around out of nowhere :))) Pink ball is awesoome.

Nevill out, starc in with a broken foot!

2 runs to win.

Fifer for Boult finally turns up this series well bowled. Great catch by Watling as well. We have seen it all. D/N Tests FTW!

Ball hits the stumps :))) As I said we have had it all.
