You said Rahat Ali closed tighter yet his last two overs were his most expensive. Does that sound logical to you?

Our batting line looks weak as always. Don't know much about the Aussie bowling line up at the moment. We live in hope. I feel Sohail Khan should have played in place of Rahat Ali.
 
Need to get Smith and the opener in the next session. The lower-order won't be able to handle our bowlers under the lights.

Australia syndrome - all-most every side gets excited with the bounce & goes for slightly short of length. Ideally, good-length has no specific length - McGrath's good length, is the length to hit the half of bails; he'll adjust his good length according to the bounce of the track. Wahab already had 2 LBW's, but for just 1 foot shorter

Good session for Pakistan. Kept the run flow down and took 2 important wickets. Renshaw is looking good though and Smith can be dangerous with his Andy Flower-levels of concentration.

This match is shaping up well.

Match would have been shaping up well if Aus had been 89-4. If they get 250, Pakistan will find it really hard to come back in this match.
 
A little more perspective on Yasir's line to the lefties. Because there is bounce in the pitch, instead of getting cut behind point, he is encouraging them to play across the line and hoping that they mishit the ball in the air because of the bounce

But the coaching staff should have discussed this ?
 
The guy has no energy in his bowling seems like just throwing anything with no effort behind the ball. Hate this dead attitude

Tough to put your mind & act together. Don't you think what MMHS writing here, all those teams touring for 85 years don't know this. I am just stating what historically had happened.
 
Can someone please find Rahat a different career. One of the worst bowlers I have ever seen play for Pakistan. Smith is comfortable lining him up with the length he is bowling consistently, and he is dumb enough still to keep on bowling short.

Ajeeb beghairati si feel hoti hai issay bowling karte dekh kar.
 
Rahat is hopeless. Been playing with the team for years and yet hasn't learnt anything no improvement whatsoever.
 
Dont understand this obsession with 3 left armers. We keep on repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Could have easily selected Sohail Khan / Imran Khan over this good for nothing useless fellow
 
We're playing 4 bowlers so Rahat must keep it tight if he isn't gonna get wickets

Rahat at his best.Good for nothing.This Pakistani pace attack is pretty average.I am surprised why Rahat was chosen before Sohail? I am not a fan of Mickey.Injamam should totally reorganize the pace attack of Pakistan.Wahab and Rahat should be replaced immediately.Aamir and Sohail's performance should be under rader.In batting, this should be the last chance of Younis, Misbah and Asad.Otherwise, believe me within a year or two Pakistan will find them at no 6 in test ranking .

Smith is looking more like Warner. They want to get as many runs as possible prior to the third session.
 
Renshaw looking scary here.

Before this series few people were calling him a newbie and to take advantage of him because he was "new".

Well, this is his home ground so we're the ones who are "new" here.
 
Attacking too much.

The lights take over in 20 overs: should be just drying up the runs now.
