Warner shuffled across, if he stayed still he could have easily whipped it away for 4, just like Khawaja did now to get off the mark. Although it was a lot more leg side this time around.

I think some of the more excitable members of the forum think, that the wicket was all about Aamir. No doubt he bowled a good delivery. A big part of it is about how they have kept warner's scoring on a tight leash

Actually I'm not so sure he has looked the most threatening at all, I thought his opening partner was a little better with the new ball.

And the wicket that caused your hyperbolic reaction was a pretty ordinary delivery, Warner will be kicking himself having moved that far across his stumps.

TBH Warner played all around it.

Warner had a chance to go all out when Yasir was bowling on leg stump.

Rahat Ali looked poor. He was bowling on both sides of the wicket.

Amir's skill too, but you're right.

Misbah/Yasir kept it EXTREMELY tight for Warner. The stat that I posted, it was his SLOWEST start in the last 4 years.

This obviously had an effect on Warner's mind.

Team effort I'd say.

If Smith goes for cheap, Aussies don't have much experience left for Yasir. I just wonder Khwaja vs Ashwin will be fun .........

Smith is the big wicket, there isn't much else for Aus after Warner, Khawaja and Smith.

Yeah, no you just made all that up. Amir bowled first over, got hit for same runs. Rahat started ok, and closed tighter than aamir

Khawaja's love for Pakistan was playing on his mind. Aussies will still get 350, I guarantee it nehin toh I will start supporting Manchester United.

Not convinced with that funda actually - I'll take batting for last 20 overs facing 220; rather than batting early next morning facing 290.

Rahat gave 3+ runs in every over he bowled and his worst over was his last (5 runs). When did he close "tighter"?

Amir had multiple overs where he gave only 1 run.
