Are you kidding me? This guy is a diamond and plays without any fear. He is Gilly and Sehwaq type of player who likes to play their shots. There is a huge difference between Akmal and Afridi. Akmal actually has a technique.

Dear oh Dear. What are you doing Misbah. He's the most likely candidate for dropping if and when Younis comes back. Faisal will be better off at 6 anyway.

Akmal has just started his career. He is likely to mature and stay at the wicket longer. I'm just worried that he's not cashing in on the sublime form he's in at the moment and throwing it away too quickly.
 
What a pathetic shot by Misbah, does not take a run even from the gimme balls but this he goes after!
 
Are their bowlers too good or our batsmen wreckless? I hope it's the pitch myself.
 
are we gonna cross 300? I don't comfy with that lead. Wickets have eased up. Can Sami and Asif bowl the same way?

Lets hope the tail + Akmal can add another 40-50 runs so that there is atleast a 200+ lead. Anything below 200 would not create the pressure.

plz plz plz kick this piece old crap out of the team. what a silly shot was that. he should learn something from HUssey. how he plays and doesnt gives away his wicket. i hope sami bats with kamran and puts on a 50+ partnership cuz now we need it badly and sami can bat and he has proved that in the past aswell. all sami needs to do is just stay on the wicket and let kamran do the scoring. cant afford to loose another more wicket here. we could easily have made 400 runs on this pitch but if u look at it our 3 batsmen just gave away their wicket.

DOnt know what Moyo was trying to do when you got three slips in their.

Misbah has gone too old to play in test matches, he has lost its touch and he should be out of the team without a doubt. inshallah we will win this test then plz recall younis and snd misbah home. comon sami show ur value with the bat aswell.

yup but he got out on a good ball, it was not really a rash shot.
He is in tremendous form and he does not to convert to 3 figures
 
does any body remember Sami match saving 100+ runs p/ship with Moin khan in NZ in 2004/2005?

Sehwag's first 6 innings of 50+ contained 3 hundreds, first 9 scores of 50+ had 5 hundreds with a 195 in there.

It's all very well being excited about Akmal's talent because he has the potential to become a very, very special player but we can't keep forgiving him every time he throws away a great start.

Some luck going our way now, after nothing this morning. Siddle again bowling well but he just is not getting the results. Shades of Flintoff.

Need to get Kami now and then try to erase this lead.

No way! He's the equivalent of Freddy bowling blindfolded.
 
Still Australia's match to lose...I reckon they'd get 400-450 in the second innings if not 500. The target for Pakistan would be around 175-200...this will be quite difficult given our recent history of imploding...
