Yes, but we all know that our batting struggles. We're not known for making 300+ scores, let alone 450.

Butt, Farhat, Yousuf, and Umar all played extremely well and should be given props for keeping things together. They played bad shots to got out, but not before they did some kind of a job.

EDIT: Actually, Butt got out to a really good delivery.

There's no reason why they can't, the pitch has eased out and on the third day will be at its best. We deserve it, poor batting. Played out the difficult period and lost our way.

By the way, the openers did brilliantly, it was Yousuf and his reckless brigade that made a mess of things.
 
now we cant complain anything from gul. his 12 runs were important runs aswell. and still 3 short of 200 runs lead. i hope sami bats through and kaneria supports him. from here a 230 lead will be good aswell.

:danish can provide us with good entertainment if he stays at the crease for few overs.

haan haan bhai you are right..but still, think about it...if Misbah and Faisal played they way they should have we could have easily gone to 400-450 considering we are at 328 as I type...that would have given us a lead closer to 300.

lol...well you are right. I know I was just exechurating it. probbaly worlds know that.

but do your comparison between Asif lbw appeal againt North and Bollinger to Sami. You will get the answer why I wrote that. Asif ball was nipping back and was at the lower part of knee but hawk eye suggested not only going up but outside the off stump too. Sami was sruck well above the knee roll but Hawk eye is other wise this time.

Why can't our tail try to bat a bit...they are the biggest jokers in a long line of jokers...Even Bollinger was batting better and with a decent technique...
 
BTW it must be annoying for the Australian viewers to leave while the play is still going on.

You're right, they were different. But there's a reason for that bhai. The pace, bounce and the carry on yesterday's pitch was completely different to what it is now, after 12 hours of bright sunshine today. Slightly slower pitch, relatively lower bounce today means that the projected path on Hawkeye would look different..ie lower.
 
It seems we will not cross 350 this time around as well.

The way this has turned out makes me reassess the value of the Pakistan top 3.

Only one over left in the day ,I hope Pak score 6 more runs to stretch the lead to 210 and then if Australia goes on to score 440 odd the target will be still under 240 which psychology can boost Pak confidence as they have scored 250+ in every innings they have batted so far.

i think we lost our chances. Our batsman could have done much better then 200 leads. Remember this is only because they got out cheap. Thats's not happening again. Pitch is much better now. Sami has done his job in the first inning. Gul and Kaneria were not impressive at all. It worries me, but hoping something good happens when we bowl

Not at all. Any result possible. Teams have come back and won Tests from bigger deficits.
 
lead of 200 great we all would have taken that at the start of the day , pakistan lost some wickets yes but also scored quickly, 320 + runs in a day
