How about last 4 in the last over. That would be even better.

Shoaib being a little desperate with whole weather forecast stuff.
Misbah wanted to retire in 2015 but the PCB asked him to continue, it's all out there on the public record. He's been happy to retire for a while.
Who better to tell us about "fighting it out" than the guy who said he couldn't play a test match because he was injured only to be photographed zooming around on a jet-ski the day before the match![]()
I think he's carried on for this long because he was waiting for one really really really bad series to be sure 100% that he's done.
Even though he wasn't anything special in England, he did good enough for him to think of himself as capable enough of continuing. He wasn't bad in the windies series either IIRC. He only played one test in NZ.
This has been the first series where he has totally flopped. He limitations and regressing ability has been exposed and he knows it better than anyone which is why I think he'll call it quits after this series regardless of what happens in the upcoming days.
that particular faction has had it in for Misbah since day one.
So its a futile exercise to win them over.
they willl criticise him regardless of what he does

Would be fun if there are 2 overs in australias innings with 20 odd to win

Miandad spot could have gone to a batting all rounder. It would have made pakistan team more balanced. Sohail , malik and all rounder would have got them 10 - 15 overs in those conditions easily.
Closer Pakistan gets to taking lead, safer it will be. Aus will lose time then.
actually he had a very good Eng series
WI series were first signs of terminal decline
Imagine the final 4 wickets falling in the last 3 overs. That would be something.![]()
Turned on the TV 40 mins ago and no Pakistani wickets have fallen since. Parosis should pay me to keep watching![]()
But we won the WI series so his deficiencies were ignored by most of us.
Forget winning. Let's just hope we draw it which I think we will
Just woke up at 5:30am & checked the score. OMG. This is not going to end pretty. Remember the last session vs NZ?
unless pak get a lead of 50 or sth its pointless in a way because thats chaseabe with warner
key are overs
Lmao
When did that happen
Sarfraz also?![]()
also we have collapsed once every test since then
If Pakistan gets a lead then most overs will be gone. Aus may not get time to bat for even 5-6 overs.
And if it comes to that our pacers will just bowl two feet down leg side with a packed leg side field making it harder to score runs
Lasan lag gaye ab tou
...and Misbah puts 10 on the rope![]()
can sohail play a defensive innings
It's over guys
Amir has thoroughly out batted Misbah, Sami and Babar in this series
lets say Pak get to end with a wicket left somehow (cant see it with almost 30 overs left)
do Aussies then get option to play extra half hour?
Well played Amir. Those 39 balls were so crucial.![]()

what about team man?
If you can't see what's coming for a 45 years old man in cricket field, then PCB should find other task than managing cricket.
What you have said, makes complete sense, I agree - but, Misbah is not carried for those reasons. ONLY reason, Misbah is carried is that PCB hasn't created a replacement - they are stuck with an old man, who unfortunately has lost his last breather at the toughest of places. Junaids have written that many times & me included, several posters have written that - he is just one step away from collapse - people at PCB are not that dumb.
Problem is, they haven't appointed a proper deputy; they appointed a wrong ODI Captain & are more confused, therefore almost forced to carry Misbah. It was clear lack of vision as these 3 tours of AUS/NZ & WI were scheduled 2 years back.
If Azhar is made Captain being father of a 14 years old boy at 32 & Safu deputy at this "young" age as WK - 3 years down the line, almost identical things are waiting.
That may prove a difference here. He consumed 15 overs with Sarf...
