no sir no. there is only one team who can win and that is Aus. Aus is positioning for it

just wait unti Pak comes to bat. if we lost 2 wickets early on, just watch Pakistan.

Even if Aus take 20 overs to get lead to 200. They only have 55 ovs to bowl pal out whcih on this pitch is impossible but ONLY POSSIBLE when pak are batting

Pakistanis have horrible attitude today...they did not attack at all, fielding intensity was so down..look at safraz. the worst culprit. he is not even getting to the wickets to catch the throw. at least 5 times now.

Albaksitanis thinking it will be a draw. well, they have to bat out of their skin to get a draw. it is not going to easy to survive 70 overs today if we lose couple of wickets early on.

waqar and shane warne had fascinating discussion on yasir shah today

fascinating.....warne saying that yasir is bowling a bit fast like all asian spin bowlers. on aussie pitches, spinners need to bowl a bit slow and let pace of pitch do the rest. they then showed record of overseas spinners in aussies in last 20 years..man it was horrible. murli averages 75. ashiwn 55, swan 52 and the list simply goes on

so why blame yasir shah?
 
man, smith is the most annoying batsman ever. ugly. moving all the time nothing comes out classy from his bat. bats like baseball.
 
Azhar has the potential to be better spinner than yasir, he can actually turn the ball both ways, but now though he has established himself as proper batsman but he can still be a very handy second spinner on regular basis.

starc now killing us psychologically......six 6s already. problem is that we could not get him out. so many yorkers and deadly bouncers but starc playin really well

That's all there is to it, Australia is a difficult place for spinners to bowl in. Just as a touring side would expect their batsmen to struggle in alien conditions, it's not unreasonable to expect similar difficulties for the bowlers.

Some people have really been reading too much into Yasir's poor performance. At the end of the day he is the one bowling and I don't think 5-4 or 6-3 fields have been the primary reason for his average figures.

That said we really need him to adapt quickly and if not be picking up buckets of wickets, at least be going for less than a run a ball...

He doesn't need a lead of more than 100 with another innings to bat for his team. Pak wont be batting higher than 2.5 over anyway. Lame captaincy.
 
If there are two teams you can bank on collapsing in this situation it has to be Pak and England

waqar is sayin that smith innings can end bowling career of some bowlers because he is insulting pakistan bowlers too much by toying them with so easily
 
I hope Starc gets to his 100 and Smith to his 200. Would mean that Pakistan has less over to bat out. :azhar2

For a team that has that many class players, it's absurd how defensive he is. There's some logic behind Kane being defensive, none whatsoever for Smith.

That he did. Picked up quite a few five wicket hauls if I remember correctly. I think he had to toil for them, but was very disciplined and figures of 5-130 are decent returns bowling to ATG australian batting line up.

Wouldn't mind figures like that for this match, as Pakistan continue to be flogged by Smith and Starc :))
 
waqar has not openly predicted end of sohail khan career as sohail is too slow with no danger whatsoever....lawry stopped him right there saying that sohail is as bad as any other pakistani bolwer, so why pick on him
 
Man this some batting pitch...how in hell did we only scored 440. We should have scored 600 here as well, to raise our batting confidence.

Can we please send Amir and Sohail khan as openers, just to annoy aussies..😂

he doesn't want his team to bat again. why not get the runs now instead of batting again.
 
Oh wow hadn't realised the extent of this demolition. Yasir about to be the second Pakistani to have 200 runs to his name :(
 
Feel bad for Amir. He has bowled much better than Sohail who has 3 wickets. 2 of which were lucky as hell.

Kane's just a horrible captain. Simple as. Give the same lot to Brendon McCullum and he'd do wonders. I was just watching him captain in the BBL a couple of days ago and he's still got it.
