Doesnt matter, the BCCI makes their own rankings, and the top 10 are all Tendulkar. :afridi

Why would we bother you have made up your mind. You are not going to look at it objectively.

2/96 from 16 overs.

i can understand the paranoia, but thats not actually true. was my question unreasonable?

RA .. Your childish provoking tactics won't really get to me. But you seem to be really disturbed if any Indian makes genuine points about Australians. I am not a protector or a lawyer of Indian players just to make it clear. :P You can swear, satirize to your heart content. I don't really care.

Your question was has Ponting ever shown sportsmanship in his life?

You think anyone is going to bother answering a question phrased like that?

Poor collection or poor throw. Bad fielding effort over all. Punter could have been out. His luck continues.

What about Kallis.. he is not bowling yet?

injured. It's ok,,,,just wait till Jean Paul bowls.....he;ll turn it from point pas the leg stump (and that's just his change up arm ball.

yes petal, that was the question, but youve conveniently omitted the context about character. if hes been panned by the world for blatantly cheating, then its debateable whether afterwards being honest is more a case of self prservation rather than sportsmanship.

if it happened before all that, my question is answered and i stand corrected, as i mentioned.

its not that complicated, its pretty fair a question and you neednt get your knickers in a twist if you feel im blaspheming against your object of worship.

Seems like there is no powerplay taken. Let us see whether Australia uses that 5 over powerplay smartly. There has been some improper usage of batting power play recently.

It was in the first innings of that match so before all the Indian sooking began, to answer your question.

I don't even particularly like the Ponting, I don't care whether you like him or not. But if you are going ask question like has he ever shown sportsmanship then what is the point of answering you?

Hussey out to the chucker for 28. Getting a little bit of form back Hussey but nothing special.

3/110 after 19.2 overs.

Ponting needs to accelerate if he wants the record. Aussies need 340 :D

Blatantly cheating, man you need to take some chill pills and relax.

firstly, what on earth are you talking about? whats the point of answering? you can probably answer that yourself since you did. if you dont want to answer it, dont. thanks for letting me know that you dont care whether i like him or not, its really means that i can get on with my life, since im desperately in need of your validation.

secondly, despite your childish sulking and finger pointing, thanks for answering the question, it seems i stand corrected regarding ponting.

Now comes the dilemma. When to take next 5 overs of powerplay. Next pair should dig in till 34th over. Once the ball is changed they should choose the power play.

I think Ponting should have taken the powerplay when him and Hussey were going well. Although, that did have the chance for potential screwups, but you have to take the chances at the right time.

Exactly.. lot of teams are messing up this batting powerplay. They better hand it back to bowling team and let them screw up :P

Now Haddin gone, 5/128 after 24 overs.

200 will be a good score on this seaming minefield of a pitch.

Haddin needs to GTFO the ODI side. Ronchi or someone else please.

Malik makes the best use of powerplays, he doesn't even bother taking the powerplay until the end of the innings even if the whole team gets out before that time :)))

You joking? This pitch is flat as.

We are missing half the team

I think that is a valid excuse for lowly ranked teams. Main reason is none of the Aussie top order is converting their starts. Hussey was the highest run getter for Australia last year. His form is a major concern. Punter should have capitalized on his luck. He failed. Nobody is ready to buckle down and build the innings. David Hussey has an opportuinty to step up once more. On the positive side it gives opportunity to players like Hussey to display their skills under pressure.

I find it interesting that SA went in with 6 bowlers (well 7 actually but Kallis doesn't count because of injury), and Duminy is not yet introduced...

SA bowling is slightly better. Especially slow bowling options. That is where game is decided.

Very poor batting against Botha. With long straight boundaries they hardly target that area. As we speak Hussey just missed a full toss.

Suddenly opinion about the pitch changes. But methinks pitch had nothing to do any of the wickets that fell.

We will be able to compare when SA bat. It maybe it has slowed down or the Aussies are having a hard time to bat even though the pitch might be the same...

I am little perplexed about the batsmen at the center is seeking the advice from dressing room about when to choose powerplay. Aren't the batsmen at the center the best judges with 10 overs to go?

Now batting power play of 5 overs will be played by Hopes, MG Johnson, BW Hilfenhaus, SW Tait. lf it were to be Malik Pakistan fans would have crucified him !!

Mitchell Johnson is a dangerous striker of the ball - Nicholas.. hmmm. good batsman. Dangerous striker?

bunnies are Chris Martin, Courtney Walsh, Danny Morrison not Mitchell Johnson. He has constructed useful innings under difficult circumstances without looking ungainly.

90% ednges past the keeper. He's a bunny. Time will prove me right as usual.

I watched the match. Not even Ntini had 90% edges. You are exaggerating way too much.

To be fair maybe 87% pf his runs comes from lucky edges/slices etc. He's a bunny. Ntini on the other hand is a beast....6 or bowled, no pretense. That' how I like my talenders. Not prenders like johnson,

Saffies have only won 66% of their test matches and 0% of their 20/20 mathes.

So after 8 games Saffies have won 4 matches fora 50% win rate.

:))) :)))
