:out

:))) full toss on leg stump, down the throat of deep square.

I think Aussies will be happy with 265/70 here.

Zimbos did well for 1st part of the inns but things have slowly fallena way for them.

Taylor and Taibu would have to get some big runs later if they are to get even close to Aussies total later.

49.2
Mpofu to Clarke, no run, excellent ball to follow up, a yorker in the blockhole. Clarke digs it out. Such is life. A rubbish ball gets a wicket, an excellent one doesn't.

:))

:four

damnitttt! short and angled on leg, flicked for four thru midwicket.

So Aus gets 262. Will Zim be able to chase it? I don't think so, but should be interesting.

I think this is a stiff target for Zimbabwe, Aussie bowlers are good.

Unless Taylor Gets a 100 or Taibu then maybe. I expect Aussies to win game by 80 runs atleast.

somebody needs to play a blinder for Zimbabwe, but they CAN do this!

Is being positive the best way to go for Zim chasing this?

I think one of the batsman will need to be positive, no point in being too cautious and getting bogged down.

Taylor and Chigumbura are probably the best batsmen in the side for zimbabwe

Nah i think it will be closer than that, but I don't think Zim will do it. I have a feeling Masakadza will play a brilliant innings and if someone supports him Zim will do it, but, as i said. I don't think Zimbabwe will win this.

Finally an exciting match.

I still think Aussies will win this.

Excellent cricket by Zim though. Well done.

All are in wrong thinking mode. All think nothing below 300 is safe. You are wrong by a long way

haddin was under a lot of pressure while he was batting. before this game, ponting told media that he wants runs from haddin. Basically he was asking haddin to score runs otherwise he would be replaced by paine. Why did he not ask the same to Clarke during ashes or asking himself too during the last few years, he himself has been terrible with the bat.

If haddin had played freely australia would have had around 300. Now 262 still a good score but we never know, I think Zimbabwe may win this game if they bat well. heard batting is easier under lights in Ahmadabad.

If Tait and co spray it around early, I wouldn't be surprised if Zimbabwe take this. :murali

Ya, I think this a decent total. Certainly a defendable one. It will depend though on which Johnson turns up today. The all spraying around one or the accurate one.

Pakistan need to be careful against Zimbabwe, they're almost as good as Bangladesh. :shakib

I wonder if a number of bouncers will be in play for the Australian quickies, just to rattle the Zimbabweans

i agree.. their fielding will save 20 runs minimum..plus they are wicket to wicket bowlers..

though we can play spin BIT better then aussies

These Zimbos are good, but I have a feeling they'll be maked a mincemeat of by a certain Khyberite Butcher.

Looks a slow pitch, Australian pacers are really gonna struggle here.

350 track minimum :wasim

Lets see,i say this because the pitch was a bit slow, but all credit to zimbabwe bowlers. There are a lot of pitches in the upcomign matches where u won't get above 250 totals

Some of Cricinfo's commentary is awesome!!

Hosford opens the commentary for the second innings with this offering. "I'm probably needlessly worried here," he says. "The nature of Australia's attack means that although Tait, Johnson and Krejza may take wickets and Zimbabwe will collapse, if all three of them are even slightly off colour my mother could chase 263..."

:)) true that though.
