Harbhajan gets his man!! Axcellent cricket this.

EDIT: and POOR umpiring. There was a HUGEEE edge there but Ponting didn't look angry probably cause he knew he was out earlier when Ganguly had him caught behind.

Well Harbhajan gets Ponting! Brings to mind that article where Ponting says that he is not Harbhajan's bunny! How about now?! Isn't that the 6th time now or something?!

Hussey out ct 1st slip off RP singh. good catch low to left by Tendu
Aus 119-4

Before the series everybody said that India's bowling was the weak link of the series. But the bowling is proving to be lot better than batting. Lets hope the batsman dont disappoint in this test.

ishant very impressive. RP beautiful swing. i like the way our attack is shaping up. now if only sehwag...

well india has australia on the ropes .. one more wicket and it's into the tail.

wow what happened here- 3 wickets for what 1 run?

ozzies feeling the pressure of 16 in a row ?

amazed at clarks lbw .. why didn't he offer a shot ?

Everybody was expecting Aus bowling to be below par after McGrath and Warne..........but seems like it is their batting that has no clue against this Indian bowling!

Time for Gilchrist and Symonds to show..........what they are capable of!

Well bowled India!

This period of play will be key. Can Brad Hogg provide support to the attacking Symonds

All the wickets taken by the Singh's. Wonder why we didnt play Pankaj Singh ..and why not give the bowl to Yuvraj Singh..:))

i never thought this would happen....

GILLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! darn...

Tony Grieg was saying couple of overs ago that in 2005 RP Singh spent time at Brisbane's center of Excellence and that is where he has learnt his stuff.

ab to Australia ki izzat ka sawal hey (matter of pride for Aus now, since there is a Australian here :) )

But can you imagine if this was Paksitan batting :92:

Ponting finally retires for 55 giving him an average of 18.33 for the innings.

The camera went to some camera man and Slater said they are shooting a Bollywood movie starring Brett Lee. Then they showed another clip that was taken during lunch where there was camera crew on field filming someone who looked to be in Indian ODI kit

Ponting was NOT OUT.......seems like an edge to the pads!

reports of chants of

Jeetay ga bhai jeetay ga
India jeetay ga

Aus is doing well to keep the score moving, Hogg already on 17
Aus 160-6

It was inside edge onto the pad's think he didn't care cause he knew he should of been out when he nicked it down the leg side

If India does not get Aus out below 250 and don't go for a kill, Aus can easily bounce back in the test with their bowling?

he was not out then but out earlier. It is hard to say it equalizes as if the first decision was given then who knows how the game would have turned

So....2nd wrong decision justifies the 1st wrong decision?? What would you have.....1 wrong decision or two wrong decisions?

ponting was unlucky. Australia would've been 200/3 had it not been for Ponting's decision.

same umpire and can't see edges. so no wrong decision I guess. He is consistent. First decision was when Aus was at 45 and second when Aus at 119.

Hogg hits another 4 this time down the ground Kumble running into Symonds

6/187

Symonds edges and ct behind off Sharma. Umpire Bucknor says not out. Symonds on 30
Aus 193-6

Ponting was very lucky. Australia would have been 45 for 3 had it not been the umpire's mistake , when Dhoni caught Ponting off Ganguly when he was on just 17.

the umpiring has been down right awful.

Ponting was given out when he was not out, but then earlier was clearly out and did not walk

and oh Symonda have some shame, he knew that it was out

Symonds play's the cut shot for 4 to bring the 200 up for Australia

6/203

never ever would i think i would sympathize with the Indians but boy they could have all of them out for 200 by now.

Steve Bucknor is blind .

Certain rules should be changed. Batsman knows he's out, third umpire knows that as well along with all those watching the game... ironically batsman stays at crease just because one man feels otherwise.

Third umpire need to play more role ...

Exactly.

Third Umpire intervenes when a catch hasnt been cleanly taken but the umpire has given it out.

Why doesnt he do it here.

The Indian's could of asked for the third umpire but they didn't so Symonds stay's
