Ahh come one dude, enough of the umpiring cry. Losing 8 wickets in 2.5 sessions (considering 2 were give out wrong) is no excuse. Look at it that way now.Dhonifan said:umpiring is making a huge difference no doubt. at sydney, by the 5th day indians were looking lost and broken, knowing aus was going to win no matter what.
Yup, if only he good move the ball away, would be a great asset with his height and high arm action! Gilly, yes he is due and he does stand up when the ship is sinking.PlanetPakistan said:Sharma's ball to Ponting was brilliant- thats how Ambrose use to bowl
I expect Gilchrist to make a big one today.
purplehaze said:On a serious note- Great fight back by Indians. However, only a foolish would count Australians out... they know they have won numerous matches from situation worse than this.

He should wait 2 days before IND wins the match by an inningspurplehaze said:Kumble should get a picture of current score card and get it embedded on golden plate at his house so as to tell his grand children, later on, what his team did to invincible Australians at Perth

Absolutely, they are like those very annoying bug, no matter how much you crush, it still holds its breath. Didnt mean anything derogatory here just couldnt find a better analogy.purplehaze said:Kumble should get a picture of current score card and get it embedded on golden plate at his house so as to tell his grand children, later on, what his team did to invincible Australians at Perth

The pitch was very good. we couldnt get many australian wickets in the morning session on the same day.Arif_India said:Losing 8 wickets on a last day pitch in 2.5 sessions is very common. Look at Pakistan in last test against India, they lost 7 wickets in just 36 overs.
from your posts, you are obessively mad at Australia dudesaffer said:When the fall of Australia so obviously comes ....and it's going to be a long fall.....I'll be watching every moment of it...
Can hardly compete with India in back to back tests......South Africa are going to beat them 6- 0 end of next year....

God bless us.

i doubt kumble will enforce follow on.
Its been a while since Gilchrist got a hundred. He's due.

OZGOD said:Ponting looks totally at sea at the moment. He'll either get out for below 10 or he'll settle down and make a big one. OZ need him to hang in there.

Just one wicket and things would change hopefully...

Rajan said:yes, he misses warne's reassuring presence when it comes to facing a rare crisis like this for the Australian batting line up
Rajan said:what was the "possible" reasons for Asad Rauf in giving Symonds out a little late? was the verdict difficult to adjudge?

Please don't tell me the umpire is now taking too long to give the batsman out.....after an "intimidatory appeal" by Kumble
Quite honestly, having only mostly seen him bowl against India, this IS a joke I think it probably because of the way our guys have always treated Warne (tendu, lax, gang, dravid etc) he has never been much of an entity to be appreciated for us.Random Aussie said:Yes is a joke. We had the luxury of Warne for so long it feels really strange not having him around.
Is what we have said for many years - give Warne a bowl - or having him come out to bat when we need assistance.

not sure. because India have to really defeat Aussies. a draw is almost out of question now. we got a healthy lead, but by no means heavy..Luton Bad Boy said:Are India again going to stop Australia breaking another record???
