I often read these when I have time.

:))) :))) This reminds me of a video title I read once "How to make Youtube work in Pakistan" and the video was a Youtube video  :)))

O´ man your storytelling rocks:)):)))!

I love reading bad Yahoo questions like above lol.

There's one where the answer is probably the funniest thing i've ever read. It wouldnt be suitable to put on here though lol.

When You try to send a sms to your fiancé and end up sending it to your eldest brother.

when you see someone getting blanked and you look away pretending you didn't notice cos you feel awkward for them.

As I was looking down at my cell phone while sitting. I see a spider come down as I looked up for a second. I right away freaked and got away from it very quickly. That moment for me was awkward.

Sth similar to that happened with me yesterday..

It was very late at night, and I was working on my essay. I was extremely tired, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw something white .. I dismissed it at first, thinking it's just me (I wasn't wearing my glasses). Then I looked again and saw a tiny, white spider almost at my shoulder!!

I quickly moved back, opened my (very fat) book on Constitutionalism on the last page, folded in a sheet of paper, and snapped it shut. Dead spider in that sheet. I threw it away then..

^ T'was the highlight of my day :P

:)) Being a nerd saved you that night.

When you say hi to someone you haven't seen for ages, and they don't recognize you and walk away instead of asking who you are.

That awkward moment when all your essay sources are filled to the brim with highly technical political jargon you don't understand  ..

Then explain why your always around your books when you need help?

Because mid terms are next week!! I have 2 MAJOR essays due and 2 exams!!

You'd have done the same in my position :P

When you make a philosophical point that one team has to lose, and your mother interrupts to say that this is not necessarily the case in soccer unless it´s a knock-out match.

The awkward moment when you are watching ARY News as a guy in the newsroom behind the newscaster scratches his behind. Poor guy probably didn't know that he was on the TV screen:)).

The ongoing FIFA world cup has reminded me of one great story from the times of the last edition from 2010. I almost killed our poster UP bhai yesterday on the phone with this.

So, we went to see a rishta for my brother (which ultimately didn´t happen due to some reasons). The girl´s elder sister had just got married months before our visit. Going through the album of the wedding pictures, there suddenly showed up one where the groom was kissing the bride, who was of course the elder daughter of the family.

For reasons best known to him, the father says to my father, "Afzal saab, aeyh veykho (Mr. Afzal, see this)."

My father.... Stun silence:)):))):)):)))!!!! And that man had a strange smile on his face, conveying a sense of achievement:))).

This is up there with saadibaba 's friend who went for a rishta and the girl kept talking about cleaning up after her pets.

Nothing wrong with a Dad proudly showing the pic of his girl getting kissed by her husband at their wedding. The joke, if there is one, should be on Dhoni's dad for getting stunned by it.

Awkward moment when you are following someone and end up following someone else while driving a car. This moment happen with me while I was following my bro and when a turn came. I saw a car similar to his, I ended up following it all the way to its house. Only to realize in the end that I followed the wrong car.

Me and my mother have been able to recollect some of the events from the great episode, as are covered below:

1. They visited us before we visited them. After discovering that we are from Sahiwal, he asks, "Do you know Anwar baddmaash?" We are like, "Erm,... what? No, we don´t. What is it?" He says, "He is my wife´s relative."

Wife: *Embarrassed!* no,.... you are mistaken. A distant relative,... sort of.

Uncle: really? But you told me so.

Amidst all this we all are wondering how relevant that is to the whole rishta issue!

*Take two: our visit:*

*Knock their door with the perception that they are one extremely religious and very, very strict family.*

1. The girl says to my mother and sisters, "We haven´t watched a single film today because we woke up so late,... and now you people have arrived."

2. Both families agree that the guy and the girl should spend some time with each other to get to know one another a bit. What does she immediately ask my brother?

"Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan, who is better?"

3. This.... A bit indecent, said by her mother. I can´t even post it here.

What a family:)):)))! I would have gone for it if I was the guy in place of my brother:asadrauf.

All in all, those were the times that make me so nostalgic:)! Memories.... My brother got married in September 2011 and has a daughter as well, aged one and a half.

Nothing wrong with a Dad proudly showing the pic of his girl getting kissed by her husband at their wedding. The joke, if there is one, should be on Dhoni's dad for getting stunned by it.

What else could Afzal sahib have done, or said? "Great pose!", or something?

Not weird, verrrryyy interesting.

I would love to know them. :))

As I said, I would have gone ahead and experimented if I had been in my brother´s shoes. I think that we rightfully avoided the risk though, considering their contact with Anwar baddmaash. A big risk that I wouldn´t allow my brother to take!

reminds me of an incident when a newly made friend invited me to his place, and when I was leaving, asked me..what do you think of my elder sister?

I felt ashamed for being from such a patriarchal environment that I could not rise above my narrow views to see the question as a normal one. I answered, that she is indeed very chirpy and pretty. That day I felt ashamed of having a narrow mind, and also felt honored that he found me decent enough to put that question to me.

^Some people are too naive to give their sister's hand to a newly formed friend. Even if the guy impress u with his intelligence, only God knows how they really are.;-)
DHONI183 lol seriously,i can imagine this happening to me. Not films but waking up late (when i am home,i usually sleep long after the morning fajr). Thank God i am over it now.:)

His sister was already engaged. He was just proud that his sister was very good looking, and wanted to know my opinion. He used to say that when the would-be in-laws saw her, they reduced the dowry by half.

If I was a bad guy, I would have milked this remark to make fun of him. But instead I chided myself for having such backward views.

What else could Afzal sahib have done, or said? "Great pose!", or something?

O´ wow! Sounds funny to start with. saadibaba, can I be directed to the post covering the story?

:))) Oh brother... I would love to have such a character around all the times just for the sake of entertainment.

I wonder what could be the conversation between the old couple over Anwar Badmash once you guys had left.

Was walking home after a night out (after the local WA football derby). It was a several km walk and along the way I needed to go.

Fortunately there was a big, several km long and wide bushland for me to go into.
So I'm out there having a leak when somebody else comes by and decides to use the same tree and start up conversation about the football

The fact that you remember it tells me you didnt drink enough mate :P

:)) For the sake of providing us these hilarious stories, I'd have encouraged you to say yes to that rishta.

I would love to have such in-laws myself! Would be a match made in heavens, given how weird I am as well.

Could it be, that he was trying to impress, or rather, "scare" us by telling us of his contacts?

But they knew that we were visiting them. They could easily have woken up earlier and watched their daily routine film.

Lol,how weird!:))

1. "Afzal saab, aeyh veykho."

2. "Tusi Anwar baddmaash nu jaandey o?"

The two greatest sentences ever! Whereas one is an order, the other is an innocent question.

DHONI183 seems to have a lot of these stories.

Is he dominating in here? :))

Our sensible-indian-fan has called me the AB de Villiers of story-telling. I think he would confirm it here in this thread.

I don't exactly remember about it but I can totally see myself as having told that.

Totally.

Dhoni183 tells the most outrageously funny stories. He is one crazy guy.

I am sitting alone on a cousin's computer right now. I thought to myself: ''Let's check the highlights of the match on Reddit''.

I start typing the website name on the google chrome URL bar.

Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah.

There are no awkward moments, only awkward people. So if you find yourself in such moments again and again...........

When a Pakistani news channel reports the case of a kidnapping and one of the three kidnappers name is Shahid Afridi. Sigh! From a couple of hours back.....
