It was not a decade lol it was 2012 i think. Jacob Oram had same heigth and his pace was same at 18 and at 23. Not everyone gets faster as they age

He is a line and length bowler not an express fast bowler

for express fast, you should look at Ehtesham Sultan.

Any way, his game is best for opening. Also, lefti at opening is always an added advantage, particularly if he can play through off side - tactically that's most difficult combination is a left-right combination is paired.

This is how you groom local talent. We never gave enough chances to most of our youngsters. PSL needs more teams to have this luxury as we are mainly recycling garbage in all these franchises so far. Unless we encourage local talent these tournaments are useless.

Actually hammad azam showed promise and he delivered. He was instrumental in paks win against bangladesh in asia cup final with his gritty 30/40 in that low scoring match

He performed well in u19 where he lead his team to victory by scoring in crunch situations while chasing

Then he hit broad for a few sixes in t20 at uae when our other batters were having issues in clearing the boundary.

Hammad Azam cannot be compared to umar amin. I realy feel bad for Hammad Azam, he almost did everything that he was required to do so as to seal his place in pak odi team for atleast 1 year.

So what if he bowls at 110kph.

Dont ask him to bowl. I pray that he gets a chance to represent Pakistan with khair InshAllah soon.

only in pak the WK with fear of losing catches stand at a longer distance.. or may be they forget where to stand for what pace .. They stand at the same place for all the bowlers who has a run-up for the bowl except spinners.... Never mind if it is Shoaib akthar or Imran Khan jr the nothing bowler who plays only T20...Sanga used to stand up for Vaas even.. And dhoni used to stand up for bhuvi and even munaf patel i think.
