What's new

Bangladesh (112/3) cruise to a dominant 7-wicket win over Pakistan (110) in the opening T20I of the series

i never expected to win in the first place i like the aggression in the last few series but reckless ness and stupidness is what they need to avoid..

41-3 . 160 is winning score and 200X stronger team should win the match easily against Bangladesh :kp

Will not even score 100. Aggressive without brain is useless. 3-0 to Bangladesh.

what a hack that was from our BOY WONDER... a bit in the pitch and proper hacks all of them

Program War chucka hai aggressive cricket ka, Or can Fauji get us to something we can defend vs this might BangBros.

But we lost to USA on past. As long as we don't lose to teams like Japan and PNG we'd be doing better
What's the point!!!! We can never win series against any decent team or winning any tournament.

Anyone hear the producer going mad in the background surprised no one has picked it up, unless it's my stream

Pitches in Bangladesh are slow, hence strike rotation is key. Here SR of 120-130 gives us more chance of winning the matches than 180+ SR with less number of balls faced.

Pakistan will get a similar pitch in Sri Lanka in World T20 2026 and theses tullebaaz can't play on little bit tricky pitches. :kp

fraud got out!!!! So we cannot even score 100 where par score is 160.

I see no problem with this approach. It's much better than trying to score underpar and lose the game anyway. Go big or go home kid. Next time execute your shots better.

Play according to the conditions instead blind slogging in the name of fearless approach. On These pitches where anything over 150 is very good score.

:kp

Bangladesh is a completely different side at home in their own conditions. Pakistan should have played a practice match or two to acclimatize to the local conditions, the pitches are completely different to what they find in Pakistan.

Those days are long gone when they'll come around 10-12 days before and get acclimatised

Funny how things turn out. The players we didn’t want in the team(faheem, khsuhdil, nawaz) will be the ones who will probably end up doing well/ok this match, better than the regular starters. Then they are retained for a few more games. Seen it happen too often

T20 bilateral basically are practice matches nowadays anyway.

Why can't Pakistan assess the conditions and then play accordingly
One good thing I like about Bazball (apart from most recent match) is that in order to take all doubts away from players is they told them to just go for it.

A bit like how our old school captains told fast bowlers just to go for it and don't worry about getting hit.

We desperately needed a reset, we weren't winning anyway, so what's the harm telling the lads to go for it and see what happens?

Mike hesson is wrong if he thinks we are gonna win matches with bits and pieces players in khushdil, m nawaz and faheem. Better to have proper bowlers and batsmen instead of them esp sufyan muqeem a better spinner than nawaz and khushdil. Strategy should be to have one proper batsman like farhan instead of khushdil and one proper bowler instead of nawaz, this deducts the need for all rounder as proper batsman will not give his wicket away easily and proper bowler will not allow the need for part timer

Well we sure are witnessing it now

Rizwan & Babas 25/0 of 5 overs badly missed. That’s what you should be careful what you wish for. Paks ghatiya batting standards once again being shown.

Khushdil will never amount to anything positive for Pakistan. When it matters he'll never turn up.
