He declared himself fit prior to the series against Zimbabwe which the board wasn't pleased about. Last I heard he had a fever too and was not going to play today, but he is.

Decline of Thissara as a bowler has been alarming. Not too long ago, he was seen as one of the most potent limited overs cricketer from SL (with the habit of picking up wickets regularly and in bulk). These days, he is just a cannon fodder for batsmen.
