It is the late swing that gives the illusion that ball isn't swinging but seaming.that last ball seamed back in. The swing is gone. How is he seaming it on such a dead wicket?

1 ball or 2 balls?
And..Amir is taken off.
Wow, tamim. Still thinks this game will go till the 17th over..lol
he is terrible kaptaan
129 k first ball, 134 k second ball...

might be the case. Looked like the ball pitched on good length and came back in after pitching.
Similar pace![]()
I think it's safe to assume that 140k with late swing is extremely dangerous than 150k short-pitched deliveries. Don't you think?
Tuskin in internationals bowls high 130's, low 140's.
I want Amir to realize his full potential, he should bowl swing at 140+![]()
Taskin pace plz
Taskin pace plz
Bowls early to Mid 130s with effort ball of 140
To be honest, our 'best' pace bowler Wahab can't bowl like that in a million years.
Taskin just doesnt look like the baller he was, after starting of his international career. Doesnt look any threatening at all, which he did while playing for the national team. Either it is the BPL, which makes his performance look ordinary, or injuries have taking their tool on him.
agree . There is a reason why wasim drools over his bowling
Don't think its injuries, since he's still bowling at relatively high speeds. He just doesn't seem to be a smart bowler, and needs someone to guide him like his captain does in the nat team. Here he has Tamim who knows jack.
On a separate note, who would you pick if had the choice between Asif and Amir?
I would be tempted to pick Asif just because he was that good.
In all seriousness, Asif needs to be back too. On merit, of course.
i would pick asif. A totally different breed of fast bowler . Pakistan has produced bowlers like Amir (fast bowlers who swing the ball late) but not like asif. He was a magician who taught amir a lot of things about bowling (apart from the spot fixing). Asif even taught jimmy anderson the wobbling delivery. He could have taught a lot to other young fast bowlers too.

Lol Tamim think's his spinners can emulate Shakib on this pitch![]()
Still No Amir

Chittagong Vikings are very strong team on paper But they are out of tournament due to brilliant captaincy of Tamim
He has just returned from Injury.
I believe he needs a few matches under the belt. Definitely a better bowler than some of the mediocre players in BPL.[/QUOTE
Yes, you should be right here.
And some mediocre bowlers.
They couldn't defend 150+ scores...twice!
Who are these mediocre bowlers? Taskin and Enamul are decent bowlers.
It was a mixture of poor fielding and poor captaincy. No bowling unit can do much about that.
And I stand corrected.
Even Wahab is a decent enough bowler for Pakistan but he we win you matches? No.
It is a matter of how you handle your bowlers and fielders. Wahab can't win you matches because of poor captaincy. Misbah is a brilliant captain, but Azhar and Afridi are subtandard captain.
Mashrafe for example is a brilliant captain. Look at how under his presence our pace bowlers had such brilliant performances. Rubel, Al Amin, Taskin, even himself was brilliant in the undoing of Pakistan, SA and India bowling attack on unfriendly wickets.
He would back his bowlers even after they get tonked. Tamim on the other hand is a so-called world class batsman who always bottles it under pressure. His fitness is poor, and sometimes plays like Umar Akmal. In T20 cricket, having a proper captain leading the side is half the battle won.
And I stand corrected.

Taskin is nothing special, he just got jacked by taking roids![]()
You are focusin on Tamim as a captain which is a different matter altogether.
Captain can't force you to bowl in certain areas. Bowlers have to take the responsibility too.
Like today, Amir bowled a brilliant first over but the spinner on the other end kept leaking runs.
A good bowling unit will always figure a way out. That's what I meant.
Yes.
And Wahab is extremely over-rated on this forum.
I would gladly accept a bowler who leaks some runs but takes 2-3 wickets in between rather than watch an 'inspiring' spell that yields no result at all.
