you need to get lucky to find talent as well.. India in the past were unlucky not to find any fast bowlers.. same as Pakistan who were lucky to find some batsmen to support the bowlers who they always found.

Bowling will be more or less similar because 37 years Sakib will not have same strength either in bowling or batting. Sakib already regressed a lot from his bowling and batting will not be same.
Mehidy is just like Sadab, Mustafiz has already worked out, Taskin was never reliable bowler to begin with. Same goes with Ibadat or Jubaer nothing special.
Mossadek will be improve so as Soumo.
Sad thing is Captain Genius will not be available.

Remove Mashrafee for 1 match and see the same team crumble.
Replace Mashrafee with Sarfraz and we will play in final.
The Mashrafee guy made nothing Bangladesh team to formidable. As much flashy Sakib is, his captainship skill is nothing.
This guy is humble but also innovative and good game planner with the team's limitation and get the best out of it.

Bangladesh have played well, but it's clear Pakistan has played better than them. We had a shocker against the West Indies, but besides that we beat England at Trent Bridge and dominated New Zealand. Brushed aside South Africa in a ruthless manner.

It's going to be a good match, seeing as how high the stakes might be in that game. But people forget Bangladesh might get knocked out before this match, if England win even one game making this game basically a dead rubber for them.

Hilarious to read a few salty comments which say Bangladesh have a better chance than Pakistan on making the semi-finals. With all due respect, Sri Lanka has a better chance than Bangladesh at this point.

IF they can win against India they will be extremely motivated to beat Pakistan - not that our motivation will be any less, but it will set up a cracker of a potential quarter-final at the end of the group stages if any of the top 4 teams drop out and give us a chance.

Bangladesh beating India is not happening.

Bangladesh team is doing really well presently but it has had a fairly easy relationship with the Bangladesh fans. They have supported them even in their awful runs between 2003-2007 where they did'nt win much.

Pakistani team not only faces flak from its fans, Indians try to use the opportunity as propaganda war, to abuse and demoralize esp. those they fear can help Pakistan win like captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Any other team would break down but Pakistani players get motivated and become extremely dangerous for other teams even with their shortcomings.

'Cornered Tigers' is meant for a team thats boxed in a corner and how it fights from there without anything to lose.

This term will only suit team like Pakistan.

Looked at top 5 most important player for bd then compare to ours.
Shakib,tamim ,Muhamadullah, mushfiq,rubel and mashrafe all are playing atleast fourth worldcup .they are by far experience team with rising there team from bottom
Current Pakistan team in with very little experience still perfoming better then them which shows our youngster superiority and mental strength after taking worse beating against w.i and india

I love this BD team. And their passionate support makes events so much better.

Don't get why they aren't given their due. They are a fast bowler short but then fast bowlers take time to develop and many countries have taken time to produce their first quality fast bowler.

Shakib is world-class and walks into any team in the world.
Mushfiqur is amazing.
Tamim and Mahmudullah have improved a lot over the last few years.
Quality spinners.
Saifudin may look an average bowler but there's something about him that makes you believe in him.
Mustafiz is a limited overs cricket champion.

They deserve all the success that they are getting now. Quality team and going in the right direction. I do believe that whatever they manage this year would be a bonus but come 2023, they may be genuine title contenders.
