Should be a good match.

I think its 50-50 in my opinion. No offence to India, they are the superior team. But Bangladesh will be playing 11 players and their is always the crowd so thats 12 players. Home conditions, momentum, self belief means that we will have that extra edge over India. If this was 2014, I would bet on my house that India would beat us by big margins but our team has young talent, new captain, and confidence.

But if Stuar Binny plays we will be in trouble :shakib

If BD wins this series then it could mean more series with them. BCB clearly have big plans to take BD to new levels.

No rain threats for this match? Dhoni would be dearly hoping for one. Rehman looks a good prospect and if he can continue to fool the Indian batsmen, he may land himself with a good IPL contract

LoL a good performance against India = IPL contract? :P Sarkar, Taskin, Mushy look good for IPL contract, better than some of the foreigners picked in these sides but i couldn't care much.

Yes man. How did Mendis come to limelight? Bangladeshi batsmen are decent but not upto the mark. Tamim Iqbal is the 2nd world class cricketer after Shakib in your side. Others do well in Bangladesh, but more consistency is needed..

True that Tamim is our 2nd best player over the years. Has a sweet technique but gets out in ridiculous fashions. Great to see him redeeming his form. The last time he was looking good was back in 2010. He scored in all kind of tracks against different opposition, shame he averages so low. But his fault. He is in some way our version of Rohit Sharma

I remember his 2 centuries in England few years back. Thought he was the best opener in sub continent at that point. But went downhill from there. But his aggression will continue to cost him. He will score those breezy hundreds here and there, but will remain an underachiever. A season of county cricket should do world of good for him, but hey, who cares about the longer formats!

Actually he has brilliant when he played those aggressive innings.

Notice how his scores in 2010 and 2009 were not only big but also played at a very good rate. Since 2012 he curtailed his aggressions and eventually runs have dried out. But ever since Sarkar has been in the team, Tamim has been playing aggressive cricket too. He is back to the old self and the old Tamim is far more lethal.

Some players are meant to play aggressively- Dhawan, Yuvi, Sehwag. especially sehwag. If Sehwag did what Tamim did he would never been rated highly in his prime.

3 changes in Indian XI.

Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma dropped.

Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel and Dhawal Kulkarni in.

With all due respect, Tamim and Dhawan still have a long way to go before they can be put in the same sentence as Sehwag. But yes, Sehwag is known for his brand of cricket and he was successful with it.

Rayudu is just not good enough, why do they keep picking him? Uthappa deserves a go - a far superior batsman.

In the last match the ball was doing a bit under lights, if India put up a good score wont be easy for Bangladesh.

WOW. Big changes in the Indian camp. Rahane out, Yadav out!
India have won the toss and decided to bat first. MS Dhoni says he wanted to bowl first in the first game because of rain threat but there is less rain threat today. Dhoni says the team has to be ready with Plans B and C. Big changes. They have dropped Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma. In come Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel and Dhawal Kulkarni
Bangladesh remain unchanged. Dhoni said there will be a bit more pressure on Bangladesh now that they can realistically think of a series win

Atleast Axar is there.

Its ok.

The good thing is that Rahane isn't looked as someone indispensable which is great cos he shouldn't play at No 4.

Also extends the batting a bit with Axar.Even Dhawal can bat a bit.I think that might have been the thinking

I hope Dhoni bats at 4 with Rayudu at 6

I think Dhoni's plan is to bowl 35-40 overs of spin if the pacers get bashed at the start. Raina bowled 10 overs in the last match.

yes.On these pitches bowling fast doesnt work that much.Even pacers need to bowl cutters etc

Sharma out. I have a feeling Virat will make the Bangla Bro's cry today. Can he find his form today? i think, yes.

Mustafizur looking deadly, its not only his cutters but his swing and line and length as well that's so impressive

Lol its so funny when the opposition scores a boundary the bangla crowd go dead silent.

Kohli needs a big one here. Dhawan looks shakey.

LOL worthy moment in the middle as Kohli displays poor game awareness. He thought it is not a free hit.

Rohit goes cheap - Mustafizur.

There used to be a time when Kohli would come on to bat where i'd wonder how many balls it would take him to get his century, now when he comes on I wonder how many balls will it be until he edges one to slips.

Yes that dominant swagger is missing.Whole team actually looks tentative

India needs to make 350 and restrict BD to 200.

Yup, him and Dhoni were the two players where even if India was in trouble when they come on to bat I would get this sigh of relief and confidence that these guys are gonna get us out of trouble. I dont get that feeling anymore :(
