Pakistan (201/6) defeat Bangladesh (144) comprehensively by 57 runs to clinch an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match T20I series

Are DJs instructed to play certain songs often, sick of listening to Arif Lohar song, its played too much . Its just as bad as listening to Naseebo lal song last two years. Pakistan music industry is creating so many nice songs , why can't those songs be showcased here.
 
Both kushdil and faheem are far better hitters than shadab. This idiotic move of shadab batting at 6 will cost us games.

Extremely poor finish from Pakistan, modern T-20 death batting means yorkers are dispatched for 4's and 6's easily. Our players need to practice the Ramp shots
 
Shadab should only come in if there are 5 or more overs left

Otherwise get the power hitter in like they should have today
 
This happens so much in franchise cricket too.

I remember one game where Tim David wasn’t even running singles with Shadab at the other end

He’s a rubbish hitter. He’s only possibly useful if he comes into bat after the powerplay and gets a bit of time to get going

He messed it up last game too.

He hit Rishad for 16 runs off 3 balls to make his stats look good. Otherwise he sucked out the momentum again.
 
Shadab, Khushdil, Hassan and Faheem are not cut for modern day death overs hitting.

You need power to clear boundaries but also ramps and scoops to counter accurate death overs bowling.
 
From 2022-2024, Pakistan crossed 200+ twice

Happy to see Farhan performing shutting up the naysayers and Hassan Nawaz giving back to back insane high SR performances. A far cry from the days of Rizwan Babar where the aim would be to score 160 lmao

Shadab is a remnant from that era, even with his 1st t20i performance i knew he is a liability and that will show more against bigger teams such as his performance against Nzland right before PSL.

I first saw Farhan in Hong Kong sixes (about 10 years ago). He wasn't a very good hitter then. He has bulked up and is now a much better hitter.

Played a superb innings today.

Shadab & Fahim are tried & tested failures, Khushdil is a leg side hack who is being played as an all-rounder, & Hassan has no experience of batting in the final overs.

You cannot play all three of them in the team in the lower middle order because they just do not have the quality.

Problem is shadab isnt a good bowler. Hes no imad wasim that he can slot in at 8 either.

Fakhar at 3 means Harris at 7. That leaves number 6 spot which can be occupied by one of Khushdil/Niazi/Shadab depending upon conditions and opposition. Niazi has all the ingredients to become a decent death overs batsman.

Fast bowling allrounder (if you can call Faheem that) is not required in a WC in srilanka so Faheem misses out.

Faheem is neither a bowler nor a batsman. Its important that Hesson learns this quickly.

Considering our bowling resources, its a pity that a trundler like Faheem is bowling with the new ball only because he is connected with the right people.
 
Goat Faheem knows how to close out overs after giving a freebie every first ball of his spell
 
Nation known for its fast bowling this attack is a disgrace Rauf proven TTF I would have picked shaeen over him if not raza or ubaid

Pakistan cannot afford to have pure bowlers playing from 7 - 11 , even if India is having capable number 8.

Wrong. Pakistan has the luxury where our 'pure' bowlers can bat decently as well. Abbas, Naseem, Shaheen, Wasim jr even Rauf can provide almost as much utility with the bat as Faheem in T20Is.
 
Almost a full house again as well. I wonder why don't we see this in the PSL more often, are the ticket prices expensive for the PSL vs a bilateral T-20 game? If yes, the PCB must look into reducing the ticket prices next season.

Could be due to boycott of PSL.
 
Posters here panicking a lot going by the comments, but it would not be easy for bangladesh as the ball gets older, and they continue to lose wickets.

People get into positions of power & they just impose themselves over the game. Let Saim or Khsudil bowl & get some xp.
 
For the sake of Pakistan, I hope no one is looking too much into this series. The opponents are complete rubbish..
