No don't think so.

Think Hafeez is trying to focus on staying in. Got a couple of lowish scores recently, and gets criticism for this sort of thing, so looks like he only wants to start going full on when he's settled. Think he feels he's more able to do this then when he had a youngster on the other end (Ahmed Shehzad particularly blocked a lot/started off slow in his innings).

Not necessarily a bad thing, as long as he can make up the strike rate later.
