Man i feel sorry for Bangladesh.

Likes of Sanga/Silva/Matthews will just bat and bat.

This batting line up though can score 1000+ against India (no joke)

And they were playing against Pak bowlers almost a weeks ago, They will eat em up mind you

Mismatch here. SL will bat once and win by an innings I reckon
 
Geez SL are boring to watch these days. Can't believe this is the same country that gave us Jayasuriya, Kaluwitherana and Dilshan. Crawling along at a snails pace, not rotating the strike.
 
A further reason along with the recent relatively boring test series vs pakistan played on flat pitches and empty stadiums of UAE why test cricket needs an overhaul.

Including scrapping of these meaningless tests getting rid of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in test cricket, and maybe trialling the concept of day night test cricket with pink/orange balls with maybe a concept of sub players being used in the day night test game example 15 players can be used throughout the day night test game. So for example

If pakistan on paper are playing junaid, gul, Rahman and ajmal as the bowlers, they can bring irfan on as a sub for Rahman to bowl 6 fast overs then sub him and bring Rahman back on the field. Or for example if they need quick fire runs down the order sub the bowlers and allow Afridi and umar Akmal to bat instead of the tailenders like rahat ali etc.

I want this only in a day night test game, along with coloured sponsored shirts and pink or orange ball.
 
How negative test cricket has become is clear example of Matthews he put all fielders on the boundary wasted time and allowed a rubbish player like Azhar ali just chase the score down in singles and doubles

If Angelo matches had been brave he could have attacked the pakistan batsmen and stopped those singles and doubles , we all know Azhar ali cannot rotate the strike when bowlers attack with him with a well placed field.

So another concept for day night test cricket is maybe to bring a power play/ field restriction for like first 15 overs.
Then afterwards every 20 overs have a 10 over power play/field restriction which will force the fielding captain to attack, and the batsmen will have no choice to play shots since scoring 1's 2's will be made difficult with fielders bought closer off the boundary. A bigger chance to force wins than watching matches end up as a Dull draw.

Again, this was as expected. Bangladeshi fans who think their team is really that good are in for a reality check. I don't mean to be negative, but many people claiming that they have a better young batting line up than Pakistan is a joke. If you want to compare, I don't even like Azhar and Asad and am calling for their head because players like Alam, Maqsood, Sohail, Akmal, Rizwan are all better batsman IMO but they are still miles ahead of anything that any of the batsmen in Bangladesh.

Shehzad by himself is better than every batsmen that Bangladesh has.
 
Shakib the lone wolf yet again. Isn't the main curator of Bangladesh a Sri Lankan? its true we have poor pacers and batting lacks serious temperament.

Test matches these days played on such poor surfaces that kills discussions. By the way many people do ask for updates , I think the live streams also not working properly these days :(
