Can anyone tell me if saad nasim is any good? His first class stats look pretty average. Surely Sami was a better option l?

Good player. Likes to grit it out. Good against spin, a bit like Misbah but without the power game.

Very underrated bowler though.

Saad Nasim is mediocre and Rizwan don't make the team as a batsman alone as he's inferior in both keeping and batting than Sarfraz or Umar.

Wonder why they're not opening with Sami who could have scored truck load of runs at the top and it would've been the ideal confidence boosting start for him.

Rest of the squad is good, but lacks firepower.

Why not actually give players a chance to fail or prove themselves and get behind the team rather then moaning before either debutant has laid bat on ball, would you rather failures like YK and malik be in the side?

I trust I would be fed his statistics in the first 10 overs to justify his bowling with the new ball, which would mean something to me if I choose to close my eyes.
