Well played Hafeez, make it a tripe now. Misbah has come out very aggresive which is good to see. We need to bat the rest of the day here and get up towards 550!

Misbah looks like hes going to smash anything loose to the boundary, hope hes in beast mode like when he scored fastest test hundred.

Hafeez's hunger is an inspiration. He and YK are the only ones who go big after scoring tons. Shehzad another actually.

Hafeez cementing his legacy as a FTB but well done to him all the same.

Lead is only 31 so we need to make sure we get another solid partnership here.

I can't wait to see Asad bat.

But then again i dont want him to because these two should stay in!

Hafeez in last 5 innings 96, 101*, 197, 24, 200
Minnow basher? NOPE

I wouldn't call Hafeez a minnow basher, since those hundreds and that 96 came against New Zealand, who have a very good bowling line up, but he's undeniably a FTB, which considering that most of our tests are in Asia, we could use one or two more of :hafeez2

The reason for the drastic difference in limited overs performances vs test performance?

Misbah Ul Haq!

yet, people still doubt his leadership abilities.

if we score at a good steady rate till end of day we should be 200 ahead.

Good from these two.

We aren't in that much of a good position right now. Important to stay calm. Get to 100+ lead then you can be expressive. Right now a RR of 3 is good.

Also we have a settle team in tests and have done for a few years espcially the batting, ODIs we have been bad as we have had no real longterm planning,.

Boult and Southee were actually toothless in those matches struggled to generate any sort of swing or seam.

Came back and bowled good in the last Test.

This was the reason why the beast inside Hafeez got unleashed.

Where is the logic in this post?

They looked toothless because Hafeez made them look toothless. If he edged one you would have said Hafeez is rubbish because he can't play Southee and co.

Yea...but there's a big difference between FTB and minnow basher that people fail to realise. The same way Sehwag was an FTB and YK is an FTB. People need to give credit to Hafeez where it is due

Misbah is like that mom/dad who has come home to his kids after a long long overseas vacation.

Kids are all pumped up and happy.

Aamir Sohail was the last Pakistani opener to score a double century at the opposition home, vs England

Mohammad Yousuf scored a double century at Lords in 2006 vs England. And unless you're excluding Zimbabwe, Younis scored one there in 2013

Younus has tons in SA against Steyn. Nowhere near an FTB.

Sehwag also has some good performances abroad, tons in Aus too.

Hafeez is somewhat between a minnow basher and FTB. Any attack who is moving the ball even in Asia, will take out Hafeez cheaply.

hafeez is lucky that he wouldnt face any attack who can move the ball in asia, I was expecting something from stark but he was toothless in UAE

Why still there is no monsoon rain in Khulna? At least a whole day of rain is badly needed. So hot out there. Please Allah give us rain
