To me it looked 5 balls he bowled with older action.
2 of those were hit for boundaries. Then he bowled a little slow looped up delivery which looked like his new action, still went for 4.
 
This is just sad now. I don't even feel like gloating. I feel so sorry and pitiful to see the state of Pakistan cricket.
 
We need modern coaches to survive in cricket otherwise soon we will have same fate like Kenya
 
Last thing I would want from Azhar is to bring on the 5th bowling option.
This is not going to go beyond 40 overs.
 
this is waqar under which tenure we haven't won a single ODI series yet...and again we are at the corner of loosing another one and even by BANG...

Shame on PCB and management...
 
In ODI's you must be scoring 300-350 in every match, we start scratching around the beginning, rebuilding in the middle and then limping towards 180-200.

Well...he knows what he is doing then. He can get away with it for these Bang matches (though it would be so wrong to do it).

I heard Arafat Sunny was plainly chucking and it doesn't look likely that he is going to be reported. When that's the case, Ajmal won't be too even if he uses his old action here and there but it could spoil his new action rhythm.

Transport this Waqar to coach Aussie side and they would still win the WC.

Waqar is not responsible for the garbage batting and bowling Pakistan is doing.

Also its not like Akmal and Shehzad were big hits in WC that injustice was delivered to them.
 
Wish Tamim was Pakistani, always have loved to watch him bat. Would have been our best opener since Anwar.
 
Still I wouldn't count out pak

But our bowling has been bloody awful since beginning of 2014

The WC is a pressure contest in which why our bowling shined a little bit

The problem with your top order isn't scoring rate. Not really. It's the wickets that fall in clumps. Happened repeatedly in the world cup too. The reason why your innings always slow down is because you need to rebuild after a top order collapse almost every time. Even India don't bat quickly many times up front. Rohit, especially takes things pretty slow until he's around 50. Without the burden of having to rebuild the innings and play safe in middle overs, we always save our wickets and give guys like Raina and Dhoni license to explode when they come out during PP overs.

Waqar has a share in responsiblity , he is not tactically good.

There is a reason why Australia didn't hire waqar when he put in a application because the man is awful

Just because you're a good player doesn't mean your a great coach

That's not very high praise though. Your openers have generally sucked since Anwar retired. Without a solid opening combo, it's no wonder you have so many top order collapses and slow rebuilding phases in most of your matches.
 
Waqar should know his caliber as coach and captain before dropping key players. He was a failed captain, a and a failed coach.

Never said Waqar is a good coach.

No one is above criticism but Pakistan isn't losing JUST because of Waqar.

That was my point.

He can be mentor only , part time , not good to be a coach , even bowling.

then coaches are there just to watch the matches from the pavilion and fill their stomach doing nothing :misbah. What a rubbish !!
 
if anyone can win the match for Pakistan from this situation is any player who take wickets :-D

Well he is bowling in Aus under the watchful eyes of the whole world and didn't get called.

Bowled in the test series in Aus.

Bowled in Asia.

Bowled in England.

Bowling for years and didn't get called while others did.

You can draw your own conclusions.
 
Future generations wont even know names of our cricketers, as is the fate of hockey players now.

Under Whatamore we beat India, SA away. SL home and Won the Asia cup, with pretty much similar players.

Under Waqar we are losing to BD.
 
Hafeez not bowling is a big set back to Pakistan..

only playing with 4 specialist bowlers and 1 of them haven't bowled for 8 months and with new action :-( this is waqar's management

Yes, enjoy the happy hours, Bangladesh deserve it, playing good cricket at the moment.
 
Problem is Waqar thinks to highly of himself and go for those hard training instead of teaching his bowlers how to ball which is more important. Learn How Hature (BD coach) train them to be a good side instead of useless body building fitness.
 
PaKistan should get rid of Waqar the coach, Azhar,Hafeez,Ajmal and Shafiq. The sooner they get rid of them the better for the team
 
Lols where are the posters who wouldnt mind losing to Bangladesh as Pakistan are rebuilding? Some people need to calm down. This was on the cards, so just stay patient.

You really are making no sense. Of all the people to blame for this match - Azhar and Shafiq? Lol the latter isn't even playing. Calm down Shehzadi.
 
you cannot win this game by restricting runs...need to get wkts and by field placement I don't see its attacking field set...Azhar what are you doing?
