Under Whatamore we beat India, SA away. SL home and Won the Asia cup, with pretty much similar players.

Under Waqar we are losing to BD.

Because of 3 reasons:

1. Ajmal pre ban
2. Hafeez pre ban
3. Shahid Afridi in form

If you see SA series, there were so many instances when these 3 would strike regular blows and create pressure.

Waqar with that team would have won those matches too.

I will give you an example.

CA threw out Arthur Mickey after India whitewash and appointed Darren Lehman.
Aus fought well against England in Ashes but lost. Then at home, due to Mitch factor and Haddin saving them in batting, they won 5-0.

Everyone thought they would do well in Asia again.

And they went to UAE and got beaten black and blue.

As someone in management says:

That's the case.

For Waqar, the 90% (external factors) are so messed up that it hardly makes a difference how good or bad a coach he is.

Bring in the world's greatest coach and he won't be able to change much with this time.
