I am not a blind hater as others.

He can bat but he should not have been selected just now and this fast tracking will damage him if he fails. Take Suryavanshi as an example, that boy is monstrously talented but they are grooming him. He can open for them today and he'll fit in like a glove but he's in the circuit getting mental/cricketing skills.

Saad Masood, Shamyl, & Samad should have been playing National T20.

Hassan, Saim, & Fakhar should have been in BD.

I usually put him on mute but working and watching at the same time I had to turn the volume up. I have always said Farhan is a limited batsmen also with not able to play against proper pacers. He looked hopeless in Australia.

Saim should not have been dropped / rested, he's our best odi player along with the fact we don't have many odi games before the wc. Not sure why we dropped Hasan Nawaz after 4 games where he actually he decent. He's far better option then Abdul Samad who doesn't have much ability.

If we remove Afghanistan and Bangladesh and see his performance against Top 6 teams;

Rizwan - Average 45.02 and 86.65 SR - 4x100s and 11x50s

All his 4 100s in this format have come against Top 6 teams. So pretty good.

world cricket may be but we dont have many thats why he keeps coming back.

Apart from Rizwan everyone else is scratchy. Tried it in T20 WC and nobody grabbed the bull by the horns. In ODI they will likely be worse so decided to stick with Rizwan.

We complain a lot about him, but his competitors have not set the world on fire either. I think we just have to accept him for ODI and Test ( where he is pretty good) for now.

Players at the other end know they can completely play without any inhibitions because he is set at the other end. Aghas best ODI and Test innings have mostly all come batting with Rizwan
