Apparently, Niketan has got Sallu baba's blessings because Katrina is close friend to Niketan...

My choice is Urvashi though....
 
I can't believe there are people who actually watch this rubbish. I mean, come on. There're so many other things you can do in your free time.

Come on man. Nothing beats Reality TV (at least presented as Reality TV)... Its global phenomenon
 
I want to know did guys in India came to know about winner just now? The winner was updated on Wikipedia at my morning time.
 
Surely those who bothered to google it would have known it earlier, just that telecast occurred a few hours ago.

I don't watch these "reality" garbage

but once Zaid Hamid gets in there, its gonna become epic, + Veena as his sidekick :asif
 
Does anyone watch this show? I saw some of it, do you think its scripted or actually an accurate depiction of the human nature of people to be different tempramentally, to back bite, *****, leg pull each other?
 
Bigg Boss 8

Bigg Boss 8 is starting tomorrow and for those who don't know about it, It is an Indian version of Big Brother.Does anyone know about the contestants this season?
 
So far there are only rumors. But sites like rediff do get pretty close on this info.
 
It's a good show to understand how and why people change, first 2 weeks everyone is BFF and then plotting starts.

All these shows generally pick either complete scumbags or soulless morons to live there.

Dreadful stuff. Big Brother was complete and utter garbage and if this is copying it I fear for humanity

I hope Pakistan too comes up with its version of Big Brother / Big Boss, it'd be epic . Big Brother (US) 17 was absolutely thrilling this season.

My favourite show. Was up watching Salman have fun with the contestants. Lot of good looking people this time.
 
The chemistry between Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna was amazing last season. Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Mahajan looked like genuine people. Haven't decided whom I will be rooting for in this season.

Yep, I watched every single episode of season 12,14,15 ,17 and 8. Found season 14,17 and 8 absolutely superb, others were kinda ordinary .


BB (US) sh*ts all over BigBoss tho and is more fair in every terms.
 
How can people watch such shows, don't you have better things to do?

^This season Venessa played a absolutely brilliant and fool proof game until the very end, she got bit unlucky there as she was clearly one the very best to play the game and deserved to win, her mistake of not evicting Steve when she had the chance instead evicting Johny Mac, costed her the Grand Prize , she is one of the very best to play the game regardless and really deserved to win the season instead of Steve.
 
Damn i didnt even know there was big boss USA and i was there 6-7 years. Hear a lot abt Big Boss UK though

Big Brother (US) is the best of all Big Brother's out there, off all countries, it's season 17 just ended which is one of my fav's along with season 14.



The good thing about the US season is that popularity,looks,race etc. doesn't matter there .. only a person with good social, strategic skills, physical and blindsiding skills can survive and take the cake unless you're a good floater and can float till the end.
 
It is an awesome show but this year it might be more focused on couples and relationships.

Yeah, BB 12 remains my favorite mainly because it was the first season I ever watched an because of the "Brigade" :))

Big brother, not Big Boss :)) Big Brother USA is centered around a bunch of people selected from auditions all over US.
 
I stopped watching this show few years back. However this year my interest is has returned slightly because one of contestant use to be my neighbor. Overall its a pretty dimension show.
 
I dont watch it untill very late and when the high intensity drama starts.

Though i dont like the show but it kind of gives you guilty pleasure, you get addicted to it.
but timings this year have changed to non prime time, i dont know if it will fit in my schedule
 
I had watched the first version of Big Boss and enjoyed it. I was very naive really believed that all the love that blossomed between couples was true and not fake. The other one that i watched was when veena malik came on the show and after that never. This season it is very boring.

Masses are fascinated by how that ethereal good looking élite behaves "irl".

In India I think they're all celebrities, but in France for instance, the producers try to make peoples believe that they're average Joe taken out of the blue living the "American dream", when in fact it's now well known that they're artists (actors, singers, ...) under contracts and that their production houses just showcase them initially to better capitalize on them later on, by building a fan-base.

You'll rarely see ugly people, who still make the majority of the pop, and even "average looking" people fit socially engineered stereotypes.

True.I have watched some of the last few seasons in bits and pieces since my sister is a huge fan and couldn't understand why anyone would want to see 10 annoying idiots trapped in a house doing nothing but bitching about each other behind their backs and looking to start a fight at every opportunity.Looks clearly scripted.Same goes for MTV splitsvilla but at least that one has hot chicks in it.
 
Reality television in India is annoying to say the least Splitsvilla,Big boss take the cake.
 
Mandana is pretty, she is a strong contender.
 
Good for her, she is least interested.

But i want to see known faces, i know nothing about the guys currently except a couple.
All of them are clueless kids.
But i doubt any working character will enter the house, big boss is the death trap for your career.
 
This is a platform for young stars but most of them disappear after the show but I think Keith has potential to become a big star.Vikas is a good person too

From last season Karishma, Gautam, Upen etc all have done a lot of work after BB. Most people who stay to the end and are actors end up getting a lot of work afterwards.
 
Loved last season and the one before with Gauhur Khan, but I don't find this season interesting so far. The women aren't as eye catching to me, that's probably why
 
Lost hope on this season.....Rimi is there despite badmouthing BB whereas contestants Vikas and Aman get eliminated
 
I have been watching BB for last 5 seasons and this is hands down the worst season ever.I wish Sana Saeed was there
 
Just read that Prince Narula won the Big boss .. Did anyone actually watch the full show.?
