All these players were always bad tbf, the one exception is kieron pollard but pollard was overrated beyond belief, always a bang medicore player who got hyped cause he happened to be a decent entertainer and pretty chill guy liked by fans in real life.

Faheem ashraf was always famous for giving centuries to the opposition. Haris Rauf was pretty decent as a t20 bowler but was beyond expensive and ultimately got exposed when he no longer had naseem to do his economy work.

Abdullah shafiq was a guy I heavily heavily wanted to succeed so much so that I fan boyed him and I refused to listen to Any knowleagble PP member, but I've matured and realised mr technique is basically just a right handed imam at this point.

Shan masood is the equivalent of having a English teacher become your brain surgeon because your dad owns a hospital.

Asif ali basically tried his living best to make a career of hitting one six and then leaving the field for his exit.

Sarfaraz Ahmed
Sohail Khan
Mohammad Amir

Fakhar Zaman
Shaheen Afridi
Fakhar was the biggest dissapountment for me. The rest I expected to be bad including Amir and shaheen, Amir is past due and shaheen I never rated, I never understood why majority kept insisting to me that Shaheen was better then Naseem shah lol

I have not seen any match of PSL this year as its not broadcasted here in India. Its streaming on Fancode app which requires a paid subscription lol.

Anyways mention of Pollard as disappointment made me curious. He is currently at 8th position on most runs list with 238 runs in 7 innings with an average of 59.50. I'm sure he bats down the order in PSL just like he used to in IPL.

So can someone care to explain how is he a disappointment?

Just looked up and Pollard is averaging close to 60 at 150+ strike rate. How is that a failure l? He is probably one of the best players in the tournament

Fakhar Zaman
Shaheen Afridi
The rest of the players are ok but Amir was not a failure TBH. He did well and was the only pacer for his team who did good throughout. Fakhar was the biggest disappointment along with Mohamamd Haris. I had high hopes for them but they were not impressive at all.

Pollard is the only performer in KK’s pathetic batting lineup. How he’s a disappointment?

Biggest failures are the fools who said that Babar should hand him over his opening spot to Haris because Babar will waste the PP.

What a shut up call.
That won’t be the case in international cricket. Those ‘failures’ in your eyes will have the last laugh

Believe that.

Wasim jnr
Mohammed Haris
Riley Rossouw

The worrying part is guys like wasim jnr and haris might find there place in the team because the selectors are often clueless.

Has to be Fakhar and Rizwan. Because they are expected to perform very PSL and usually do. But this one has been horrific for them.

The worst timing too, when we are trying to experiment with our opening combination.

The funny thing too, is the guy we dropped to 3 in Babar is now looking the best opener in PSL by a country mile. I don’t think we’d have dropped him down to 3 in the first place if he had this type of PSL. It’s was partly because last PSL he was pretty average for his standards.

Alex Hales has been surprisingly poor this season. Besides that, a whole host of Pakistani intl. players have been terrible.

I would say Rizwan however I didn’t have any expectations to begin with

I did however expect bigger things from Fakhar, Nafay, Saud and Abrar

He did perform in international when it mattered the most
Yes with an average of 14 and Sr lower than both Babar and rizwan is your definition of performing. As expected you can't answer a simple question

Lovely post...
Made me chuckle

I still don’t understand why Abdullah Shafiq gets so much criticism here..

He scored 55 last game and was dropped for most of the season prior to that for no logical reason.

He was asked to bat at 7 in which he made 15* and was then booted out lol

LQ are a horribly run franchise and don’t let Rashid Khan’s and Brook’s heroics over the last several years fool us..

Shafiq is pretty much just a discount version of Babar and slightly superior right handed version of Imam.

And another 50 by Abdullah
Psl I don't rate because shaheen has scored a faster 50 lol.

It doesn't change the fact that he'll go missing In international against top quality teams.

He gets hate because he's a proper bat. Our fans like players who can slog blindly. Abdullah was one of the main reasons why the won last year and this year they play him lower down

Shaheen shah Afridi?

Lost pace (but still a go to pacer) and captaincy cruelly exposed this season. We now know why he was so good in the two previous seasons: he had a quality spinner in Rashid Khan.

Just goes to show that a captain is only as good as his team and that to have success in t20s you need a quality spinner.

Biggest disappointment - no Pakistani middle order hitter has stood up. Had expectations from Mohammad Haris, hoping he comes good in the knockouts.

shafique batted out of position.
He's still nowhere near babar's level and won't ever be.

I don't mind Abdullah tbf, but imo, saud is a superior bat and saim ayub is a better investment. If I were pcb I'd be rushing to try to convert saim into a world class batsmen rather then Abdullah.

I agree he aint Babars level.Saud looked like a headless chicken against Australia and is alot better than Abdullah I think.
