Shatteringly powerful film-making. Funny and moving and terrifying and sad.

I have not seen it but from one the reviews I gathered the first half of the movie is really good, the best by Spike Lee in a long time but the latter half slips into political diatribe against the current govt. and Trump which turns the movie into one of those post-Trump activist, self righteous, preachy types.

Do you agree?

No. There is a five minute sequence linking the seventies KKK with the Nazi march in Charlottesville, the car attack on the demonstration and subsequent Trump remarks. Not “self righteous”. Just righteous.
