This is a mammoth total but will need nerves and other body parts of steel to chase down.

Can Pakistan do it?

This will be their highest successful run-chase if they are successful

Previous one being against Australia of 349 in 2022

The DLS 20-over target would be 187.
 
Pakistan cant chase 357, but it can chase 180ish in a 20 over game. Pakistan should look to play according to the DL score of 20 overs.

No it won't happen. Babar our so called best batsman is average when it really comes down to it. The rest are just glorified tail enders. I will blame Babar when we lose for his stupidity of bowling first. For that I am furious at him. Now he owes us a breath taking and match winning innings as a form of redemption.

Finally I agree with you. Pakistan can Chase 180 in 20 over if they can bat with sensible approch knowing rain is around the corner
 
No chance, we don’t have anyone in our line up that can chase at that rate. If Fakhar fires they may have a chance at getting close, without him it’s curtains.

If we loose Fakhar early, Babar and Imam will tuk tuk to about 30 overs run rate required will be 15 and will collapse.

I’ll revisit this post at 30’overs and be right :)
 
I think this is the perfect target for Pakistan - India are looking to win so don’t care whether we make 200 or 300.

With that known, we’ll play risk free cricket to get to 270-300. rack up some nice stats, improve the average, provide some ammunition to our stats and infographic lovers and move on to the next game

Seems to be the way in these tournaments - India wins one, Pakistan wins one
 
Nothing is impossiible provided the team is determined to give a strong fight but my feeling is that PAK was highly over confident ( not juatthe Pak team but the Pak Media Pak fans etc ) and felt that their pace bolwers will rattle the Indian batsmen and reduce them to single digit scores etc etc and this match proved it horribly wrong and they must be in shock . Having said that I feel every team is a good team and if they take their opponents seriously and give their very best will end up winning that match .Even if India wins this match I feel there is nothing big for Indians to feel too elated and they must just treat it as just another win and be prepared for a totally different outcome in their next match with Pak .SO Bottomline - EVERY MATCH IS DIFFERENT and do not get too ealted if you win or too dejected if you loose a match and give the very best in your next match .

In the world t20 was zimbabwe and in Asia cup its this game 😀
 
We lack an all rounder like Pandya who can come in later in the innings to hit it to all parts. Even for that the top order needs to give us a chance in the first place. Our top order batting won't scare anyone in the coming WC. I don't even know why useless Shadab our useless spinner come all rounder is in the team. He's a waste of space who Indian batsmen can play with closed eyes.

In these conditions with the ball was doing that much for every pacer, it would be difficult to chase down this massive target and with Pakistan losing early wickets, it is now looking impossible for them to get any way near to this total.

Bro, you had two humiliating losses in the World T20 - India and Zimbabwe. I think they should have another humiliating loss vs SL in this tournament. It will help you win the World Cup.
 
How was India able to bat so easily against our "world class bowling attack" on this pitch?

You need to remember what happened in 2018 Asia Cup. India handed Pakistan a thrashing in the Super 4s (and in the group stage). Pakistani fans had one match pending against bangladesh which they assumed would be a walkover and they were chest thumping about facing India in the final again and getting payback. However Pakistan failed to defeat Bangladesh and were knocked out of the tournament. India then defeated Bangladesh in the final. Do not underestimate Sri Lanka, especially in their home turf.

I will assume Pakistan will make the final, just like you assumed India would beat Pakistan in the CT17 final and win the CT, and win the 2019 WC.

Indian fans need to be taught humility, not the other way round.

It was never going to be a possibility.

Not even in the previous match! Rain saved us. This Pak team CANNOT chase anything over 240-250 against the decent sides: AUS, IND, ENG.

The talent just isn't there, as @Mamoon says.

Imam and Rizwan in this batting lineup means we're never going to be a formidable side and will not win any tournament.We will, however, keep beating BD, AFG, Nepal, West Indies, at times Sri Lanka.

Lol, it will not prepare us for anything.

We don't have the talent, nor players, to win tournaments.

The team management will also stick to Imam, Rizwan, Fakhar. This is no reality check because we're like ostriches. As long as these 3 duds are in the batting order, we're going nowhere.
 
Nepal made 232 against this attack and Pakistan 128 lol. Yeh bhi din dekhne ko Ane thay.

India was taking it easy against Nepal, also this match had tougher batting conditions especially since Pak was chasing in overcast conditions.
 
350 in Sri Lanka is a big score to chase.
I’m surprised India got to this total, we have batted really really well in these two days.
 
With the current batting lineup Pakistan won’t be able to chase this score against England, Aus, SA, NZ, or SL either. Against Nepal, possibly.
