Captain Kohli has an amazing record after winning toss in Test cricket.

He has won the toss 21 times; won 18 tests and drawn 3

Which will be the first team to beat Kolhi after losing the toss? :shezzy

He will have a amazing record after losing the toss as well.

He lost some 5 tests in SA and England

England was the biggest disaster, we didn't win single toss in 5 test matches and lost three close test matches chasing, overall in last 14 test against England India have won only two toss

2 of those draws were rain affected. We would have easily won in Fatullah, an innings win surely. And SA too got very lucky, bowled out on 1st day on a flat pitch for 200 with our openers giving us a great start (80/0) in reply. Only Sri Lanka deserve some credit, that Delhi match was the pollution mask one LOL.

The Indian team is pretty well rounded. So when they win the toss overseas, they will most likely win.

What kind of a luck do you have to have to lose all 5 tosses in a 5 match series like Kohli did in England? I don't see that happening all that often it at all lol

I’ve always felt that if rain affects a match by more than 90 overs, it should be abandoned and not considered drawn.

Shows how important toss is in most places around the world.

Still cannot believe India ended up with 1-4. Granted India missed a few due to injury. Still that little 20 year old Sam Curran made sure it was 1-4 instead of 3-2 in favor of India. They missed Bumrah as well in two of the tests. Missed Bhvi the entire series.

Our captain lost all five tosses in home series vs England too.

Maybe a case of get rid of the toss and allow the touring team to decide? Let home team take the pitch advantage and touring team take a call whether to bat/ball first. I think it will bring a lot more balance and we wont see touring teams losing always.

Kohli wins his 22nd toss. Can Australia beat India and end his unbeaten run?

Looking unlikely at this moment with india @152-2

ANother stat, Kohli has opted to field only once in his test career.

Not used to winning tosses too often, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli had a brain fade moment at the toss with Sanju Samson ahead of RCB's clash against Rajasthan Royals on Thursday. The two teams locked horns at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Kohli tossed the coin while Samon made the call and it was the RCB skipper, who won the toss. However, Kohli had a brain fade moment and got confused as he stepped away and let Samson take the mic. It was only when presenter Ian Bishop asked a question that Kohli realised it was him who was supposed to answer that.

Kohli then came forward and took the mic from Samson and quipped ""I'm not used to winning tosses." He then opted to bowl first against the Royals at the Wankhede.

Royal Challengers Bangalore headed into the game on the back of three back-to-back wins in their first three games of the season and will be looking to make it four wins in a row on Thursday.

The decision to bowl first in their first game in Mumbai worked in RCB's favour as pacer Mohammed Siraj got them off to a perfect start with the cheap dismissal of Jos Buttler. Buttler was removed on 8 off 8 balls by Siraj before Kyle Jamieson got rid of Manan Vohra on 7. Siraj then removed David Miller on a duck before Sanju Samson was dismissed on 21 by Washington Sundar.

Shivam Dube (46) and Rahul Tewatia (40) then helped RR recover from a top-order collapse. Dube added 66 runs for the 5th wicket with Riyan Parag (25) before posting a 24-run stand with Tewatia for the sixth wicket. Rajasthan Royals managed to post a fighting total of 177 runs at the end on the back of impressive knocks from Dube and Tewatia.
