So, announce PCB to all presswallas.

Question is and any guesses why he has taken this very thoughtful step?

I feel he assumed he would arrive in the wake of a smashing win and he would accept the kudos, instead he arrives in the aftermath of a train wreck.

Cavalry 🐴 has arrived to save the king! 👑

:bobs

His decision to appoint Babar as captain will hurt him for long now

I think Naqvi had already booked a flight earlier as he was expecting the team to absolutely smash Ireland but the reverse UNO happened. Unfortunately, he could not cancel the ticket anymore so he though, okay, let's go and give some confidence to the boys now after such a humiliation they had to face.

He should announce a change of plans on the $100k award and instead announce a $100k fine for each player should they lose any series through to the end of the WT20.

In Pakistan, people only understand the danda.

Then I think we can properly assess team performance and see what these jibroni are made off.

Crazy. All the talks of not micromanaging stuff. Now he will teach players how to play Cricket?

Where's Kirsten ask him. Why he hasn't landed in Dublin?

What does he have to do in Dublin? He is the chairman of PCB, not a part of the management. He always says he has delegated all rights to the management and selection committee, but he is constantly buzzing around the team.

I didn't know Interior Ministers had so much free time on their hands.

After the defeat against Ireland, Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Dublin for a two-day visit. Upon arrival, he had a meeting with the coach and captain. He will also meet with the team today.

Will he be handing over the series Trophy tomorrow to Ireland as the VIP Guest?

How many meetings does this nonce need to have with the players, he will just stand and smile / wink like a fool. He wont be taking any serious action, just some old fashioned desi passive aggression.

The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, met with the national players in Dublin

There was a two-hour-long meeting and detailed consultation on strategy. Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi boosted the morale of the players. He advised the players to play with hard work, passion, and a professional approach.

He said:

“T20 cricket has a different and aggressive approach.”

“Victory is only possible by playing according to the modern and new style of T20 cricket.”

“Strategy can be arranged sitting in a room, but the real test is on the field. Performance should be visible there.”

“Undoubtedly, all players are talented, professional, and the best.” “The national team’s bowling attack is excellent.”

“There is a need to pay a lot of attention to fielding so that the opposing team does not get any chance.”

“Players are the hope for Pakistan and you have to live up to the expectations of the nation.”

“Teamwork is fundamental for victory.”

“If 11 players become one and fight for Pakistan, success will kiss their feet.”

“The Pakistani nation loves cricket and the nation has hopes from its players.”

“Fight till the last ball. The competition should be visible.” - Mohsin Naqvi

“No one is accepting the defeat in the first match against Ireland.”

“After Ireland and England, the real test is the World Cup.”

Will Mohsin Naqvi's motivational speech going to change the mindset of these players from now onwards?

A motivational speech in sport goes a long way. There are many examples from the world of football where a half time speech has roused a team to victory or boxers getting motivated by their coach in the corner.

In cricket there has been a couple of famous ones too. Jaques Kallis humourous comment about the Aussies being 10 or 15 short or Imrans cornered tigers speech present contrasting yet effective strategies for motivation.

If Pakistan win today then all credit goes to Naqvi for rousing the boys to win against this top class Irish side. Flying for hours just to rouse up the boys for such a vital game shows his dedication to the role.

I have a feeling that in years to come this speech will be seen as the trigger for the transformation of the Pakistan team.

Long live the Chairman!
Long live Pakistan!

Chairman also gave a speech before the team flew to Ireland for the series.

Do you also credit the loss solely to Chairman for rousing the boys?

The chairman especially flew over to Ireland to state the obvious?

Somebody near him or PCB administration probably pushed him to go to Ireland and give motivation speech. As Chairman isn't a Cricketer nor an Administrator by trait.

I think going to Ireland was pre planned. They will probably discuss more pathways for making Ireland and Pakistan play more cricket with each other going forward and build bridges. The chairman has to do these things

Chairman sahib also needs to find who that Pakistani commentator is (Shah Faisal) and think about hiring him as PCB’s full time commentator. They have a serious lack of good English commentators and Shah Faisal was quite impressive.

The reason why he was so good was because at the moment he isn’t on PCB’s payroll and he can speak freely without any restraints

When will the uncles of this country understand that they aren't nearly as important as they think they are?

seems like presense of Major Mohsin Naqvi sahab boosted the confidence of the boys lol :ROFLMAO:

Naqvi sahab plz stay with the team till the end of the World Cup!

These boot polishers are now cricketing experts. Surely they should stick security and economy as those have gone amazingly well in the last 2 years.

Not usually.

Criminal governments loot other countries and bring it to their own.

These inept clowns use IMF funds to take money out of the country to buy ranches in Belgium, Switzerland, Canada etc.

What next Mr. that was complete annihilation
