If they wanted security precautions then they should ask people to come 2hrs before the game begins and seat then accordingly and then close doors once a certain time passes.

This is not an airport where you seat business class first, then back row economy and then front row economy at the end.

The one time I remember mismanagement in England was the Pakistan v West Indies match in 2019 at Trent Bridge.

There were people stuck outside to get in whilst the entire first innings had ended for Pakistan

We luckily got in because we parked at the right place and took the gate less busy that day. Many people who didn’t know messed up big time. Pakistan getting shot out for a paltry score didn’t help either.

Yes there are several checkpoints plus far away parking space. But very smooth system and nicely managed.
