What's new

Champions Trophy 2025: Josh Inglis stars with 120* as Australia smash 356/5 to defeat England (351/8) by 5 wickets to win Match 4

Short will need to score a 150 for Australia to win but he's struggling against spin.

Buttler is a rubbish captain. His field sets, bowling rotation everything reminds me or Rohit
I wonder what's mccullam role.he must be as dumb as buttler/rohit i believe. All 3 can decimate opposition with bulldoze approach but cant think tactically. Baz captaincy worked for short period but not successful against better teams in away tours

Still better than home teams scatter gun
Ya pak still has great attack
By 2035

It will be 15 years since Pakistan field a first XI without Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen in an ICC event

Match over lol Next match
Long match

Maxwell also on this wicket will be something

Short is still there
How this australian team won world cup in india i will never know they are minnow vs any spin luckiest team to win the world cup in india.

India choked. Period. Australia came close to losing matches to a lot of teams. Pakistan, SA, Afghanitsan, NZ. They somehow escaped due to some bad fielding of opposition or good fielding of themselves. Plus INdia dug their own grave by closing the gap between two teams with a terrible pitch

Well, it was 2 years ago and there were some key figures who are not playing in this side

Warner
Marsh

They are missing their 3 seamers too. It’s not the same Australian team by any means

Impeccable Hazlewood just hypnotised KL Rahul into self explosion #Ahmedabad hiest

Player like Livingstone is worth his weight. He can easily bowl 5 or 6 good overs. Terrific fielder. Excellent finisher

So ture my bro spot on as always alot of teams just couldn't close out the games vs them australia just got lucky in the end they even lost to sri lanka few days ago just cant play spin they are terrible vs them

If you wnat to get carey out ask one of their fast bowler bowl round the wicket targeting the stumps. He will get bowled most likely.

Livinsgstone is like warne compared to Kushdil lol How would you compare him with Imad wasim? WHo do you think is better?

I'm not comparing apologies already it's a self claim Scorates here who threw these pearls of wisdom

Meanwhile amid all the pressure Aus still doing excellent strike rotation a skilll which Pakistan never had

Haydos says it is a young side lol.

Short 29
Head 31
Smith 35
Labu 30
Inglis 30
Carey 33
Maxwell 36

Aussies are generally more ahtletic. Also they can hit a few fours and make opposition set fields defensively.
They have still kept the required rate under 8 , Pakistan would have been bogged down at this stage and required rate would have been 10

Paksitan batting coach needs coaching he was a lower order medium pacer now turned batting coach

England on top now with 4 wickets in the bag.

Can Aussies still do it?

160 to chase in last 20 overs with Maxwell still to come?

It’s not over yet.

This is the make or break period. Buttler has to bring in his best bowlers from both ends for a spell here.

They need to drag it to the last 10-15 overs.

Could be a great platform for someone like Maxwell.
