To indicate how far Pakistan has fallen, I wanted to create an ODI XI of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
Not long ago, an ODI XI between India and Pakistan would be dominated by Pakistan. Today, maybe 1 Pakistani Player gets into the Indian Team. This is also important because on the heels of the recent one day drubbing against Australia, Mickey Arthur and the Quiet Selection Committee suggest that the result would have been different if we played our best players. I beg to differ.
Combined XI
1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Fakhar Zaman
3. Babar Azam
4. Mushfiqur Rahim
5. Shakib al Hasan
6. Mahmudullah
7. Mohammad Nabi
8. Rashid Khan
9. A Pakistani Fast Bowler
10. Hasan Ali
11. Mujeeb ur Rehman
FYI: The Young Players Coming Through in Afghanistan and Bangladesh are far better than Pakistan. The Under-19 Asia Cup Mauling Vindicates that Opinion.
