Shoaib always exaggerates but Zahid was well-known for being a bit quicker than Shoaib in domestic cricket (1995-1997).

Although, Shoaib eventually surpassed Zahid's top speed between 2001-2003 before obviously setting the world record. Unfortunately for Zahid, he had completely broken down by then and the world never got to see both men head-to-head in their prime.

Fast bowlers are always injury prone. There is no evidence that this Zahid guy would have been great just coz he had speed.
