Used pitch with no grass has literally made a mockery of test cricket in Pakiatan. It was not a test match but a competition between average spinners from both the sides. Nothing more. But but but...these spinners are better than Ashwin and Jadeja. LOL.
Anyway, congrats West Indies. Now I think after this humiliation and reality check, Pakistan will revert back to better pitches.
They aren't > Jadeja and Ashwin.
Ashwin and jadeja are medicore spinners. On helpful tracks their king, in the same way sajid and noman were bowling like murli and Warne on such pitches
But on unhelpful pitches their virtual circus clowms who get pelted 24/7.
Bcci even knows this and drops Ashwin for overseas tours and Travis virtually ended his career.
The pitches where ashwin and jadeja have dominated are the same pitches where root has a fiver.
The reason why india remained dominant at home wasn't due to ashwin and jadeja but due to the fact that their batters could neutralise rank turning spin and were just too good at it.
However this time they lost to NZ because all their batters excluding pant and jaiswal are circus clowns.
Rohit and kohli are hilarious. Gill's feet don't even move so forget about playing spin etc etc.
The problem for pakistan however is that unlike India during its golden days, their own batters suck on such pitches and honestly they lucked out on the previous games.
England test was won due to a one match wonder from kamram ghulam and one iconic test knock from saud but both knocks were once in a blue moon, and the 1st Test match between wi and pak was entirely toss dependant.
Ashwin and jadeja are nothing special. India curated the exact same wickets at home however their batters knew who to neutralise the opposition something which they can't do anymore due to how rubbish their batting wise and how much of a brutal reality check NZ and Aus gave them.
