Zimbabwe have won only two "away odi series" against top side in their entire

history.This is their 2nd odi series win playing away from home against major

team like SL.they have several series win against BD,kenya, and other

associate team but i did not consider it due to weak team

first away odi series win was against Newzealand in 2000

Really heartening to see Zimbabwe do well. Always liked them and found them fun to watch in the 90s. I do not know if this is a resurgence but I hope they savor this win and this results in some growth of cricket in their country.

Zimbabwe are one of those teams that just when you think are on the verge of oblivion, they find ways to bounce back.

After being bowled out for 54 against Afghanistan in February, having lost three ODI series to them, one would've thought Zimbabwe were finished as a cricketing force.

Yet they still pull off big individual wins against top sides here and there. They beat Pakistan in 2013, Australia in 2014, beat NZ and Pakistan in 2015, beat India in a T20 last year and beat West Indies last year.

Really hope they make the 2019 World Cup. Congratulations on their first ever series win in Sri Lanka.

Congrats to Zimbabwe. Everytime you think they are down they produce a performance like this. Hopefully they can sort there domestic structure out and get back to being a competitive international side.

Congrats to Zimbabwe. Like to see them play competitive cricket. They have announced themselves for the race at the bottom of the table with WI SRL and BAN hope they rise up the ladder. Through out this series they have been playing positive and aggressive cricket which got them the series. I think klusener and ntini can help them reach new heights.
