If you see an Indian with the suffix name '-ani' there are 90% chances that he (or she)'s a Sindhi, I think it means something like 'son/descendent of...' in the language.

Not many Sindhis in India I think (max. 2 million in a pop of 1.2 billion...) but they're very successful and I'm not surprised that in Bollywood too they have their fair share of ambassadors.
