CT: Australia vs West Indies , 4th Match , Brabourne Stadium ( Score/discussion)

This Bradshaw may look like the most innocuous and ordinary bowler but he does an excellent role for his team and is highly effective. I dont know his stats but I reckon he has a good economy, average and wkt/game ratio too.
 
impressed by Sarwan's captaincy so far , doing a good job in the absence of Brian lara.

The very Fact, that gilly is still out there, and Aus have not yet scored 100, for 22 overs, especially when gilly has been there for all of the 22 overs, speaks volumes on how well Windies have bowled.

It pitched a foot outside offstump on a length, and bounced and turned viciously, nearly taking our Baugh the wicketkeeper.

If you field second make sure you have enough spinners who can bowl skidders like this. It is very difficult to pick. They are far more effective than pace bowlers in the second half.
 
Why take Gayle off....Bravo has given runs when they took Gayle was taken off when he had just started his spell and had taken a wicket...Strange
 
Before the CT i predicted Michael clarke would do well as he just loves Indian pitches. He has never failed to succeed here.
 
Why would you take a bowler off the attack when it is his first over of the spell in which he takes a wicket....and you bring a mediocre fast bowler on instead on a pitch that gives spinners more help at a later part of the game.....Unbelievable

Superb innings by Gilchrist, he's single handedly kept Australia in this match (haha i told you Zahir). I think Hussey and Pup will guide them home.
 
That was fantalous.
Almost feel sorry for Aus.
Match's interesting now with still a slim possibility of Aus winning.
