Specially when it comes to red ball cricket we should pick the top ranking batters and bowlers in domestic cricket by default. Disregard a player’s race, religion, background, height, pace, strike rate, looks, english speaking and political affiliation. The only things that should matter are the batting and bowling averages.

Also disregard the fact that someone should be given a charity farewell test match.

We don’t need the rocket science powerpoint expert M Waseem or a Cowboy Rameez Raja or a brainless Babar Azam to interfere in team selection.

I have had enough of seeing the injustice in team selection. Rameez Raja is still living in 90s.

This is the only way forward.

I think this squad is being selected on the back of qaid e azam trophy

Abrar Ahmed as been picked on merit top wicket taker in qaid e azam trophy

Nauman ali averages 50 with the ball and he's the 10th best this season in terms of wicket taking

Faheem averaging at 46

I'm not sure how muhammed waseem is keep getting selected in t20 + tests

Asad shafique has the 2nd best average after muhammed huraira

Saud shekeel 5th and Salman agha 10th
In between you have umir amin, fawad alam, asad shafique, and usman saludeen

Talent is dead in the pakistan we will be officially a minnow team in coming years
Need to move away from 90's cricket from grass root a d think out of the box

Brook has played 56 domestic FC matches while some Pak players have have not played even 10. Ramiz is an idiot.

The biggest blunder Babar has made has been selecting a nothing player like Faheem Ashraf, and playing Azhar Ali for far too long.


Picking Shan is another disastrous decision.

its a terrible result, but apart from hurraira and Mohammad umar i cant think of anyone who really impressed in domestics who wasn't selected.

next series I'm guessing hurraira will replace azhar ali.

this series was lost because our front line batsman simply dont convert their starts into daddy hundreds, and our bowlers are totally reliant on a kid in his second test.

need a long term vision for test format, which would involve test only seam bowlers if our LOI seamers are too fragile to compete, but that is difficult given how little test cricket pak play.

Mubasir he impressed me with bat and ball.

Umar and Sameen Gull,Mir Hamza or Ihsanullah 2 of the 4 should be in the test squad.

Aamer Jamal getting hard done for no reason. Babar obviously has never seen a real allrounder before in his life that’s why first he dropped him after he won a game with the ball Vs England in the t20 series and now got ignored despite a good FC season in favor of the fake allrounder Faheem. What a joke.
