Does the Pakistan think-tank have any XI selection headaches for Champions Trophy 2025?

Maybe it's a good thing or maybe a sign of how bad we are but I feel that when it comes to choosing an XI from the Pakistan CT2025 side, the selectors hardly have a "headache" - a term we hear a lot when it comes to other teams who have richness of talent or match-winners.

Some may say this is due to a few players like Babar and Rizwan being unfairly persisted with but the fact is that unless we start to lose badly in every other game, the management have a set XI in mind which they will persist with (much to hair-pulling of their fans)

If a team keeps winning, then who am I to complain? With every side facing injuries, no time like the present to win ct, but I have a feeling, one of eng or Aus or NZ or India will get rid of Pakistan in ct

If pakistan lose than Pakistan think tanks specialy Aqib Javed have to answer lot's of questions

1) Why they didn't select the proper openers
2) champion trophy is in pakistan/ UAE still why they only selected one Spinner
3) Faheem selection ahead of Jamal

If they win than Aqib Javed will becomes pakistan hero with team selection and strategy.

3 players with less than 10 Odis played

1x debutant

No 2nd opened

Bogus Allrounder

5 x players selected without central contract

Captain is inexperienced

do u still tink Pakistan has any think tank after the selection of Faheem Ashraf?

Need to fix some things before the CT. Not ideal to make changes before a big tournament but they are necessary.

- Babar needs to go back to #3. Saud can open instead.
- Khushdil and Faheem are passengers. Bring Kamran Ghulam back and bat him at #6 or #7. Hopefully Haris Rauf is fit and can replace Faheem.

1) Fakhar
2) Saud
3) Babar
4) Rizwan
5) Salman
6) Tayyab
7) Ghulam
8) Shaheen
9) Naseem
10) Rauf
11) Abrar

^ Much more balanced team with actual batting depth. Obviously Saim is a huge miss but we can still win this, InshAllah.

It’s a terrible squad which is assembled.

So little logic, so little thinking but a lot & a lot of pathetic stuff.

I think the big question mark is Saud at 3. I think Babar needs to come back to 3 simply because it's a different mindset batting at 3 compared to opening where you are supposed to take lesser risks and thus suits Babar a lot more.

For opening, I would go with KG instead of Saud who is a little more adept at playing pace and has a recent MoM performance to drive confidence from.
