Pathetic as usual.

The standards for him are so low that nothing surprises anymore.

Is he still a part of PTI? What's the deal with that?

And what happened to the differences mentioned in OP?

He is proper aasteen ka saanp, all day abusing IK on his Twitter and on his talk shows. Yet continues to sit in assembly as PTI MNA.

Forgive him, and move on. We have all said things in our lives which we should not have said so.

Hard to forgive a repeat offender. This guy is a proper clown and will 100% continue to be an idiot in the future as well.

Bashing Aamir Liaquat is a national hobby, unfortunately.
Every single word out of his mouth will be analysed and critiqued to death.

Even if he apologizes, people won't forgive him but every single time Fahad bhai says something obnoxious on his show then that's ok because it might be funny and no one cares.

Every single time in Jeeto Pakistan, Fahad Mustafa is insulting people based on their looks, weight, speech, mannerisms etc but uski khair hai because Fahad is a movie star and charismatic.

I also wanna ask all these bashers which PTI MNA did they see working in their constituencies to educate people about the virus and distribute ration. Aamir Liaquat was very visible and also worked with JDC etc recently but where was Faisal Vawda? Where was Imran Ismail? Where was Ali Zaidi? Aren't these guys responsible for their respective constituencies ya sirf Aamir Liaquat hi hai criticism ke liye.

Blind fans open your eyes. Karachi is still being neglected and badly.
I'm a PTI supporter as well but they've done nothing of note in Karachi so far and I think we should man up and accept that.

Something that not many people know or remember is that Amir Liaquat’s university degrees are all fake. He paid money to get his degrees. Didn’t actually study much and yet portrays himself as a very learned scholar on TV. Has a high school level education. Look it up.

Yet he can school majority of the buffoons with "genuine" MA Islamic Studies degrees. How so?
If you bother watching his shows you'll understand what I mean.

You don't need a piece of paper to prove if someone is knowledgeable or not.

The problem is a majority don't even watch his shows. They either have watched those 2-3 "kesa diya" clips and spew hatred whenever they can or they just base their judgement on viral clips.

I’ve watched enough. He’s narrow minded, rude, arrogant, and doesn’t respect anyone.

You may not need a piece of paper to prove that you’re smart, but maybe you should tell that to him, who has gone out of his way to fabricate multiple degrees; I have no respect for individuals who use their money, connections, and influence to embellish their resume and appear smarter than they are — he is the epitome of everything wrong with our upper class elite that maintains a strangle hold on our country’s development.

Dude lives in a flat in Khudadad colony.

Which upper class eLiTe are you talking about?

They keep themselves in power and think they are entitled to it after being born to influential individuals. They then run for office and get elected. He is not very different from another TV host turned hate spilling buffoon who is now sitting in the White House. Giving away gifts on live television is not enough to make you a hero.

This man has mocked other religions, joked about rape, claimed that the Pakistan cricket team lost matches because their shoes had green soles, and made fun of suicide. He deserves nobody’s respect

His father, Sheikh Liaquat, was a Pakistan MNA. His kids completed the majority of their education in the UAE. Where he lives now is irrelevant

Your standards for upper class elite are very low.

Millions of Pakistanis qualify for those benchmarks you just mentioned.

Millions of Pakistanis have MNA fathers and the money to make several fake degrees? His eligibility to run for office was on basis of those degrees he submitted to the Election Commission! He is very much a part of the corrupt elite who use their money to keep themselves in power, there’s no debate about this even if you love him for his free motorbikes and duas.

You do realise he wasn't MNA from 2007 till 2018.
Your point about "keep themselves in power" stands shallow here.
Besides, how many millions do you think it takes to buy a fake degree? I suggest you search it up and you'll be surprised at how cheap they are.

He isn't part of the corrupt elite.
He's not a zameendar, sugar mill owner, landgrabber, business magnate or khandaani raees etc.
He's just a famous anchor/TV show host who's also an MNA.
Comparing him to Trump is like comparing apples and oranges.

The corrupt elite you're talking about are your Chaudharys, Tareens, Sharifs, Bhuttos etc who've plundered and looted the country at will

I suppose it’s on your definition of elite. To me elite doesn’t just mean money to me, but it also means power and fame. I 100% agree that the real elite are the names you mentioned. But Liaquat is not far from the post.

Would you agree with me if I rephrased to just say “corrupt”? If so, you will find you agree with me more than you think. He has benefited off of cheating to get ahead — we Pakistanis cry about the corrupt elite but we worship folks like Liaquat who have very similar mentalities. I have long said that Pakistan’s problem is an issue of its attitude, not its talent. We think it’s okay to cheat your way ahead — until we change this mentality, we will not improve our economy or system or structure no matter who you elect as Prime Minister because the system is rotten to the core. It’s time we begin adopting a no-tolerance policy. I apply this universally to all political parties and all politicians, all tv celebrities and all actors and actresses, all policemen, all DGIs, anyone with any role in the system. It is not enough to pick and choose your least corrupt personality. I respect your viewpoints in general and surely you must agree.

Lastly, as far as Trump goes, Liaquat’s penchant to espouse arrogance, rudeness, “otherize” people different from himself, and treat sensitive, serious issues insensitively is not at all different. The scales are different. One of them was smarter, and was able to climb his way into the most powerful position in the world. Therefore his hatred is something to be taken more seriously. Fundamentally, Liaquat has inspired mob violence against other religions, attacks on journalists, and has trivialized mental health and suicide. He has rightly even been called out by Amnesty International. He is not as innocent as you think.

PM 'refuses to accept' my resignation, says Aamir Liaquat Hussain

Television anchor and PTI leader from Karachi Aamir Liaquat Hussain says Prime Minister Imran Khan has rejected his resignation which he had offered after he was unable to help his constituents.

“After a long meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan my four-page resignation was rejected. I opened my heart told the prime minister everything. The prime minister hailed my efforts for raising my voice for Karachi’s issues and said thinking about the public was the role of an elected leader,” he said on Twitter.

Earlier in the day, Hussain had posted on social media that he was on his way to the Prime Minister’s House to submit his resignation.

Hussain who won on a PTI ticket from NA-245 in the 2018 general elections, had earlier hinted at resigning in a post on Twitter, citing reasons that he could not offer his constituents any respite from Karachi's frequent power outages.

“I confess that I am a helpless MNA of Karachi. I am unable to provide electricity to the people of my city. I cannot see the people of my city suffer. I will ask the prime minister for time and submit my resignation,” the former MQM member had said.

Karachi has been hit with intense power outages for the last few weeks as the federal government and the Sindh government continue to trade barbs over the city’s power issues and power supplier K-Electric. The city has been experiencing up to 10 hours of unannounced power cuts despite assurances from ministers.

This is not the first time that the PTI MNA has been in the news for being upset at his party.

In 2018, a month after the general election, reports had emerged of differences between Hussain and the PTI after he had expressed anger with the party over failure to invite him to a dinner hosted at the Governor House.

According to reports, Liaquat left a WhatsApp group comprising PTI Sindh's leaders over the issue.

Prior to leaving the WhatsApp group, Liaquat had sent a voice note in which he expressed anger towards Secretary Information Shehzada Qureshi calling on him to bring a positive change.

“You will not get the opportunity of winning so many seats. Do not be the reason to lose respect. Hurdles will be created in the future if you continue mistreatment of your own people” Liaquat was quoted as saying in the voice message.

PTI’s Karachi President Shamim Naqvi had said there was no reason to be upset as no dinner had been hosted.

What is Better? Who killed him and Why? Any comment or are you going to run?
The tragic murder of Aziz Memon deserves swift justice, which is something Pakistani authorities have repeatedly failed to deliver for journalists,” said CPJ Asia Program Coordinator Steven Butler. “Given the victim’s previous allegations of threats from local officials, it is essential that the investigation be free from political meddling.”

Months earlier, Memon released a video, now circulating on Twitter, in which he said officials of the opposition Pakistan People’s Party and local police had threatened him over his reporting. His reporting included allegations that individuals were paid to attend a widely publicized 2019 “train march,” in which PPP Chair Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stopped at train stations to give speeches. The PPP is the dominant political party of Sindh province.

No party is perfect but I am new to PK politics, can you help me by telling me a single person in either the PML or PPP that isn't a criminal.

Does this include the former PMLN and PPP members who are now part of PTI?

Or did Kaptaan recruit the few angels and saints like SMQ, Firdous Awaan, Fawad Chaudhry, Pervez Khattak, Hafeez Shaikh etc.?

They are angels unless you have anything on them. And it's not as if you didn't have time to find things on them
Where are the cases against them? They left to join an honest person and so far they have done an excellent job.

I see.

Everyone in PPP and PMLN is a criminal (your own words) except the ones who joined PTI.

Now if anyone from PPP and PMLN were to join PTI tomorrow, their status would also change from criminal to honest, but as long as they are in PPP and PMLN, they are criminals (again, your own words).

Maybe a little reading and intelligence will help you to understand. The cases against the Nooras were investigated by the PPP as they knew what crooks they were and the PPP cases were done by the Nooras. Lol

Who is SS talking about?

So if all the former PMLN and PPP members that are now in PTI were still in PMLN and PPP, I assume that you would not have made the above statement right?

Because if you would have, you are admitting that the former PMLN and PPP members that joined PTI are also criminals.

It is not a difficult question. I am not sure why you are side-stepping it. Can you please answer without doing your usual “aye baye shayen” ?

Not all AA is in the PPP and he is someone that has a lot to offer. But pretty much, afterall why would anyone stay in Parties whose sole aim is to steal. Maybe you can tell me the reason for their existence to make money for the families.
