sharuk said:1) Akmal as opener
2) dropping butt
3) no use of afridi as bowler
4) persisting with sami
5) defensive attitude
sharuk said:razzaq has been useless this whole test series. drop him for arafat
Big Mac said:Only thing there is Akmal as opener.
No Salman made no difference, had to play Sami because there's nobody else. Afridi bowled 21 overs, that's more than Razzaq so your 3rd complaint is rubbish. As for the defensive attitude, how do you expect them to be attacking after being bowled out for 119 on the first day?
Big Mac said:haha yeah, damn him for coming out in this second innings and gritting it out against Harmison.
Popeye stays and some of the batsmen could do with taking a look at what he's done today.

sharuk said:gritting out? his strike rate is 8. thats not batting.
Uzzy said:TBH, Razzaq was s******* himself against Harmison.
Congrats on 1000 posts RRRomali_rotti said:All overrr Harmi gets a 6for.. Doesnt matter I think if Shoib back for next test it should make things interesting and Pak always know how to come back when they are down, onto the nest test...
Big Mac said:Yeah and he lasted longer than most of the others even with a big brown stain in his pants. Counts for more than a couple of sixes in a worthless cameo.

I hope Shoaib is back, as Headingley is always good for the bowlers, and if Pakistan win the toss there, they should definitely bowl first...
Uzzy said:I'd take a cameo with a couple of sixes than someone with s*** in their pants and gutless to fight back.
Big Mac said:ahahahahha yeah, he stayed there while nobody else gave him ANY support. Don't even think of telling me Afridi showed more guts than he did.
Razzaq showed guts going out there and batting stubbornly for that amount of time with no support after being roughed up by Harmison. If you want gutless then look at Sami or even the mighty Afridi hitting a couple of boundaries off the spinners then gifting his wicket to Harmison immediately.
Of that lower order only Razzaq showed any fight.

Uzzy said:The way you go on about it seems as though Razzaq played a marathon Hannifesqe innings. Why should Afridi play defensive when the next people to partner him are the tailenders. We knew we were going to lose, just go down swingning.
Razzaq unfortuantely played with a stain in his pants in both innings but then again most of the batsman did bar YK.
