Read the thread, we've posted answers to that (with various scenarios) about 50 times in the last hour.

You can work it out. But as stated above both Eng & Pak have to win their games by ~250 runs. If Eng beats NZ by 50 runs, then Pak needs to beat BD by 450 runs (although its not strictly linear)

This is because NRR deficit between NZ and PAK is 1.36 NRR (that means per over faced in this world cup NZ have hit 1.36 runs more than PAK.) So if you have to make up that in one game it will be almost impossible (like overall win margin = 500)

I don't understand why England didn't prepared flat wickets for themselves in the early stage of the tournament. I mean they obviously know they will struggle on slow/spin wickets. Pakistan beat them in CT17 on a spin wicket. Some of the results in this WC seems fishy. At times the points table seems scripted. I always feel the case in IPL. So many last over finishes, unclear status about final 4 teams even so late in the tournament.
