Brilliant win. Bairstow was outstanding, this innings have possibly injected a new life to his test career which have had its ups and downs.

The game was a FARCE. Chasing on day 5 of a Test match should not be so easy. At one point batters were toying with the bowlers, it looked like IPL. Spinners as usual had no role to play.

This just shows how bad a captain Joe Root was. He's a phenomenal batter but as a captain, he was hot garbage.

He should have been sacked right after Ashes 2019 but ironically it was Stokes' heroics at Headingley that saved him for another 2 years.
